Spiller's YPC and Brown's effectiveness are not necessarily tied together. If they run it to the right (off of Urbik who is consistently a bull in the run game) all Brown needs to do is not get blown up so bad the play goes nowhere. He seems to be alright at that. But it seems like the O has been REALLY leaning on Wood/Urbik/Pears in the run game. Probably because they know Brown is the weak link by far. The stat we need to see here is Spiller's YPC off of each OL position.

When you're playing in a glorified scrimmage game, you make sure you practice everything you want to practice before you take the 1's out. Which in this game should be about another 25-30 minutes (of real time not game time.)

Wait Troup earned a spot but Ross/Bryant should be cut? Yeah....no. Go back and watch the games. 2 DL can definitely be cut. But Troup stood out way less than Ross OR Bryant.

First one has got to be Izaan Cross. Then Bryan Scott due to all the speculation. Then I would say Troup is a possibility, if not then Westerman maybe to free up a spot. I would like to see them pick up an OG and CB from other team's cuts. Cross/Scott gets them to 53, IR Legursky and cut another LB/Troup gives them the space to do both. Hopefully their practice squad has Pough, Kaufman and/or Rogers, and I would expect Chibane to get a chance there too. Edit: Also forgot they're currently carrying 4 OT. Do they really need Welch AND Young? Can't they find a guy who can hack it on both sides and only carry 3?

Exactly. Even repairing a small meniscus tear is a 4+ week healing period. This had to be something like getting it drained. Something that shouldn't keep him out, but also can be called a procedure which keeps him safe thru the end of the preseason

You probably believe OBD thinks Jeff Tuel could start against the Pats too, right? 2 week recovery for a knee procedure? Come on. That's incredibly short. Whatever that procedure was, had to be quite minor. Like "if this were week 6 there's a 0% chance we would have considered having this done" minor. This just screams of insuring the prize pick. If they cut Smith and Stevie got hurt, we would be subjected to some very long painful games from a fan's standpoint. Graham, Goodwin, Woods, Rogers, Hogan would probably be your 5 healthy left at that point. They fifteen combined games of NFL experience. Yikes.

I got one playing pickup tackle football in the snow between my junior and senior HS seasons. Knocked out cold from taking a head to head hit around my ear. Struggled with PCS symptoms until graduation (roughly 15 months) because I didn't recognize at the time that I had a serious concussion and never got proper rest and what have you. Daily headaches, light sensitivity, irritability, nausea, etc. And that was probably my second or third concussion, though the others were mild. Now all it takes is a nice rap to the head and I'll get a migraine. Last time I got one was from hitting my head on the "Oh s**t handle" getting into a truck. Concussions are definitely no joke.

I enjoy it. I don't know the price for cars, all 3 times I have used it, my FIL has driven his RV. Its I think $25 or $30 for an RV if its any indication. Nice and easy to get out, make the right onto Southwestern and off you go. Pretty good atmosphere. Not too rowdy but you can do what you like it seems. Kegs, food, games, whatever.

I also park in the grass lot near Lot 5 (I believe). That's the one right in Southwestern near the ravine right?
