  1. Doubtful. They have THIRTEEN DBs on the roster right now. I have no doubt one will be cut for another QB. However it will likely be Johnny Adams or Brandon Burton. Rogers would become the #5 CB when healthy. Which is about right. Gilmore/Leodis/Brooks/Robey/Burton or Adams Byrd/A. Williams/Searcy/Leonhard/D. Williams/Meeks
  2. re: blaming the hurry up for winded defenders.... That may be true. But its much more likely that they were gassed because this is what the offense produced under Tuel: 3 and out 3 and out 3 and out 5 plays for 14 yards; punt 4 plays for 20 yards; pick 6 18 plays, 38 yards in 5 drives. Bleh.
  3. All 3 recent ones for terrible reasons. The other one was the year I was born so I don't remember. Here's how I picture Bills/Browns games: terrible football, weird weather
  4. Forecast calling for rain & possible storms right around game time tomorrow. If its persistent, Advantage: Buffalo
  5. Http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/stadium/parking.html Looks like prepaid lots
  6. Spiller and Jackson had 190 all purpose yards against Ray Horton's Arizona defense last year. That is all.
  7. Next time a pipe leaks or busts at one of your homes, in which you use the plumbing every single day, perhaps we should tear the house down. Bunch of people who don't understand logic in here. Pipes DO break. Especially in an aging structure that only gets used 10-15 times a year.
  8. My take is this: Looking big picture, they decided that they only had the money for a big money long term deal for Wood OR Levitre. Because its easier to find a guard than a center, the choice was made right there. As far as the Dockery discussion goes, they didn't really have many big money players back then did they? Now they have Stevie, Wood, Byrd, both Williams, raises coming (relatively--remember big picture) soon to Spiller, Gilmore, Bradham, etc. Signing too many players at too long a term is what gets you in cap hell.
  9. Gilmore probably won't be back. He hasn't even gotten medical clearance to practice yet...not to mention Monday is film day and Tuesday is a CBA mandated day off. Which means Wednesday is a walkthrough and Thursday is game day.
  10. Very bad pass by EJ there. Great read. Johnson had tons of room and EJ was way behind
  11. Except he's been (surprisingly) getting open... and hasn't had more than one catchable ball thrown his way. I'm not a Graham fan either. But he's been getting past his man and Manuel either hasn't hit him or seen him.
  12. Don't know what it says or care really. Usually I post from mobile so sigs are disabled
  13. You complained that they "called read option off tackle runs" or something to that effect. Don't know what it was word for word. By saying that, it seems that you do not in any way grasp the X's and O's of Read Option plays, at least at the NFL level where most of the calls are package plays. The play is usually more than just "QB keep or RB run." It wouldn't be effective that way. You need your WRs running routes, whether it be a quick hitter or what have you. The QB then READS the defense and chooses an OPTION which he believes will be most successful. So perhaps its not as much the play call itself as much as a rookie QB not making the best decisions, yes?
  14. You DO know how a read option works, right? Judging by this post, you don't have a clue.
  15. Problems: 1) no holes in run game 2) no DBs 3) offensive calls
  16. the only starter in the defensive backfield currently playing is Williams, and he's playing CB not S. this should be expected. No Gilmore, no Byrd, no McKelvin
  17. Justin Rogers is just so immeasurably bad
  18. Colin Brown. There's really no one out there better than him? REALLY? The run game has been all but nonexistent to the left side because of this clown. Next would be the merry band of "cornerbacks" that play on the outside opposite of McKelvin (who has been average) in Gilmore's stead. Rogers, Brooks, anyone but Robey has been BAD.
  19. Quick Google search brings up a verse from Leviticus. Which is you know, a code of conduct for a couple of thousand years ago and says you can't cut your hair, eat shellfish, wear blended fabric, wear gold, and all sorts of other fun nonsense
  20. Trust me. It still exists. I have a degree to be a teacher and it was strongly encouraged that any tattoos were not visible when it came time to be in the classroom or even interviewing for a job. Not even accidentally through clothing. Like through the sleeves of a light fabric/ light colored dress shirt.
  21. Also a solid theory. Tattoos do unfortunately have a stigma attached to them for anybody. As an athlete it could be the difference between losing and gaining an endorsement. That's why Kevin Durant is brilliant. Not an inch of his tattoos show in his basketball jersey. But....http://vlsportysexycool.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Kevin-Durant-SSC-TATS.jpg
  22. Lol....yeah they hold his elbow tendons in place right? Like the ones basketball players wear?
  23. If you hate on the Zac Brown Band, you're a terrorist. OK but seriously, every man in ZBB is a damn skilled musician. One of the best concerts I have ever been to in any genre.
  24. Could be just to protect them. From UV exposure, for one. Or just because when you play in the NFL its not hard to get cuts or brush burns from the playing surfaces which could then scar over the tattoo you paid good money for.
