  1. This team has two healthy cornerbacks, one of which is supposed to be only a special teams guy. I don't think they're really in a position to be picky. They need more than one. White and Pitts are all they have left healthy.
  2. Just your typical Sunday 1:00 game in Buffalo
  3. Note to you...Pat Tillman's friends and family want people like you to stop invoking his name in topics like this. I am not the type of sports fan that worships players. I don't have sports heroes. Tillman is probably as close as it gets. The more I learned about him, the more I admired him as a person. Yeah, he went overseas after 9/11 out of a sense of duty. But by the time he was done, he thought it was all a waste of time and money and complete BS. He was planning on speaking out against the war. Because that's who he was. He refused to be put in a box, into any kind of stereotype. He wouldn't want to be a martyr for discussions over patriotism, so don't disrespect his legacy by doing so Because I bring receipts: Marie Tillman 2017 Marie Tillman 2018 Deadspin: Stop Using Pat Tillman
  4. I support the idea of signing him. Even if I disagreed with his reasons for protesting, I would still support it because I'm an adult and able to separate things. He checks the boxes of what they need. Veteran, experience starting, mobile, not Nathan Peterman.
  5. Oh great Barkley released from the Bengals. He seems to be this regime's type of QB.
  6. Only a circus show if people make it so.
  7. I know of a certain veteran QB whose best attribute is his mobility. Not sure our fanbase could handle it though.
  8. Fire McDermott. Continuity be damned, this is 2018. Run and stop the run is garbage. Try desperately to find someone in the mold of Mcvay or Pederson.
  9. Hated the pick when it happened. Really liked Javon Hargrave who went to the Steelers just a few picks later and is a beast.
  10. Phillips plays both DT techniques though, IIRC, based on what he was doing in camp. He is essentially the top backup for both KW and Star, who each only play their one technique.
  11. Thanks for the visit to TBD, David Duke
  12. Because he's practice squad eligible is my guess
  13. I lost it at the Richie Incognito tiki torch line.
  14. They save nothing by releasing Clay. Clay is a superior player to O'Leary in every facet of the position, but, typical of Bills fans, we have fallen in love with yet another JAG player.
  15. I agree. It's nothing against O'Leary, I just think he was a limited ceiling player right out of FSU. He has likely reached that ceiling already. Knee woes aside, Big Play Charles Clay is one of the more well rounded TE in the game these days. They very likely are enamored with the athleticism and potential that Thomas and Croom bring to the table. Thomas is raw with blocking and route running as a converted QB, but has the size to become a better blocker if he is willing AND as a former QB should have a good big picture understanding of play design, etc. As a converted WR, Croom brings better route running and pure athleticism with the potential to be a nightmare mismatch against LBs or smaller DBs and will need to develop as a blocker over time.
  16. No, golfers wear gloves. O'Leary doesn't wear them. He must be Jack Nicholson's relation.
  17. Yeah I'm seeing 89 on the BB.com roster now including Zay Jones (Active NFI means he counts). So Allen + Robinson made 90. Removing Palepoi brought them back to 89, I guess
  18. Robinson signing yesterday was technically 89, but everyone said that made 90 because Allen was going to sign eventually. Releasing Palepoi brings it back down to 89.
  19. Not exactly sure how you can see the lines that good receivers in Marshall and Bowe put up, then compare them to Mohamed freaking Massaquoi and go "yep, it was the offensive coordinator that was the issue in Cleveland, definitely not the fact that Mohamed Massaquoi was the #1 WR" I am not the biggest Kelvin Benjamin fan but man, there's no doubt he's a better player than someone who had 118 catches in his entire career.
  20. My problem with Sullivan wasn't that he was negative. There has been plenty to be negative about in regards to the Bills and Sabres for the last 20 years. No order here, just listing things off the top of my head. - Monday post-Bills game columns had become very predictable. Based on the events of the game, I felt you could accurately predict the tone and subject of his column on Sunday afternoon. - The whipping boy; examples being Mario Willams, Marcell Dareus, etc..He would pick a new one seemingly every season and then take shot after shot after shot at the guy. Just really droning on and it often added little to no substance to his content. - Flip flopping. Don't treat me like an idiot. Don't sell hope after wins and then the next week sell doom and gloom and pretend you weren't peddling the hope. The fact he would write one thing during training camp and by the end of the season pretend it never happened....get out of here. His schtick was stale. It was time to move on.
  21. Excuse me barkeep... I'll have what he's having.
  22. We just lived through 8 years of "Obama is a Muslim Kenyan terrorist not born in the USA," part of which was trumpeted most loudly by the man currently in the White House. Respect for the institution of the presidency has been gone for almost a decade.
  23. I'm sorry, WHAT? Putting all politics aside here. You want to call these people "spoiled petulant brats" while praising Trump's move here? Trump is KING F'ing Petulant Brat. Any perceived slight will get a reaction out of him. His skin is as thin as they come. Men like HIM are the "role models" creating more big ol overgrown man children.
  24. I must have missed something I thought the anthem was dedicated to the country not just the troops
  25. I have a strange feeling he was looking for a full time job elsewhere anyways and that's why he's still hanging around part time
