  1. We're goin dancin! Can't wait to get on campus tomorrow....to see the faces of all the kids who were at the game (8 hours away) tonight. The buses were scheduled to leave between 11:30 and 12 tonight, return to campus between 7:30 and 8:30 tomorrow morning.... AND IT'S MIDTERM WEEK!
  2. Juan is GOD. Haha I know that, I followed them when I was still in high school. I remember the one MAAC semi-final against Manhattan, I think it was OT or 2OT...whatever, it was when James Reaves was a senior. They got a HARD screw job in that game, I was so pissed I kicked the TV. I skipped my last 4 periods when they made it to the Big Dance with Juan, Cruz and Brooks to go and watch the game. I was at the Semi-final game against Iona that year at HSBC Arena, and I went to a bunch of those games.
  3. I'm hoping they win because that means I get a day of classes off when they play in the Big Dance.
  4. I can't believe you don't know where the caps lock key is. Have you ever heard of the draft? That's probably where we'll get our defensive players.
  5. I don't know about his athleticism/quickness, but I don't think we'd need him to pull as much as you think. Peters and Dockery would be a team who could do straight ahead blocking when necessary. Also, Peters and Fowler are pretty mobile. I noticed they pulled Fowler more often than Gandy last season.
  6. Ralph: "Is Walter Cronkite still doing the Evening News?"
  7. Don't give Ralph that much credit. He's almost 90. He watched the Wheel and Jeopardy and then retired for the night.
  8. After this dude smoked his joint and decided he'd rather have TD and MM running the show.
  9. Red-flag on Eric Steinbach. Boating under the influence. Here's hoping Marv ignores it and signs him anyways
  10. I didn't think it was slippery at all when I played on it. It was much better than the rock-hard ground and sparse grass that some high school fields consist of.
  11. As far as I know, Shark is a better MLB prospect than Henson was too. Henson was a free swinger, and he hacked his way right out of the minor leagues. Shark's a pitcher with decent stuff.
  12. He deserved to be in on the original roster, over Andre Johnson. I mean, Johnson's a good player, but look at the stats. Johnson: 103 catches, 1147 yards, 5 TD Evans: 82 catches, 1292 yards, 8 TD 145 more yards and 3 more TDs on 21 fewer catches.
  13. I remember Super Bowl XXVII, only bits and pieces, and I remember my parents went to XXVIII in Atlanta (I was 5, almost 6) and being excited that the Bills were winning at halftime. I think we all know where it went after that.
  14. Simple answer to the thread title question: BECAUSE WE WANT THEM TO.
  15. 6', 230 That was good for LT/C and DE/DT in high school. Probably LB size (or a big SS).
  16. He could handle playing in Conference USA when he was 16 and 17, and the Big East when he was 18 and 19. At 19 years old, he's not even done growing yet. He's huge, and he's freaking brilliant (how else do you get into college at 16??). He's already a good player, but his upside is tremendous.
  17. Rogers has had drug AND injury problems. Williams is, by the accounts of Lions fans that I've spoken too, fat, lazy and out of shape, which would make sense considering he has 6 CATCHES FOR 71 YARDS ALL SEASON
  18. Bironas has a stronger leg than Lindell. (Lindell would never make a 60 yard kick without a 20mph wind at his back). Bironas BARELY squeaked in a 42 yarder earlier in the game, kicking into the wind. Tell me how Lindell, with his weaker leg, and ever weaker late-game history, would have been able to punch through a 45 yarder?
  19. My prediction was 6-10. I thought best case would be 8-8. So they're better than I thought. No let down this season, which is nice for once.
  20. ...I think that DeMeco Ryans deserves it more than London Fletcher, and it really sucks that both of them couldn't be named as alternates. Wilson doesn't deserve it, but Fletcher obviously does, and what DeMeco Ryans has done as a ROOKIE in HOUSTON is huge.
  21. I was going to mention those, along with the first NYJ and NE games. Those are 4 games we lost by a combined 14 points. Throw in the Detroit game, and it's 5 games by 17 points. This is a young team that is "learning to win." Perhaps next season, we'll be on the other side of 5 close games.
  22. I'm going to echo your sentiments. The Sabres success paired with the Bills struggles have caused the sellout streak to shift from the NFL to the NHL in Buffalo.
  23. Except Milloy would not have fit with this defensive system. Milloy was an animal in the run game, and we usually played him up in the box in run support. He was not good in coverage. Cover 2 safeties have to be good in coverage.
