    What are these "sacks" you keep talking about...I remember Deacon Jones back in the day, and I've seen other teams perform a "sack," but I can't remember the Bills ever pulling one off...are they legal?

    CBS and Fox are able to protect a certain number of games against the flex...some "sources" already mention games thought to be protected. Link I think the Indy-SD game stays...the Manning appeal is still strong and the Colts and Chargers seem to be back in the playoff race.

    It was over when DJ didn't challenge the Welker non-catch...someone early here compared lifeless Dick to Jeff Fisher, where Fisher would run down the sideline to throw the red flag, Dick drops it at his feet. Compared to the other challenges Dick has called, and lost, this one looked like a gimme. He blew it. The game was over after the Cassell TD.

    The Torrence cut has received a lot of discussion down here in DC...almost as much as the Hall signing itself. He was also a special teams standout. Seems he just got caught up in the numbers game. I believe the Bills should definately snap this guy up...hell, if he can be had for the same $500,000 as Hall, TAKE HIM.

    Interesting. King is a heavyweight with the HOF voters and if he's behind a guy, that's usually good news. (So, we like King this week? ) For years, he was blamed down here in DC for keeping Art Monk OUT of the Hall. King's premise was that Gary Clark was the more feared and effective receiver...whatever.

    Here's my take on how the conversation will flow: Golic: "Hey Greeny, your Jets are going up to Buffalo this Sunday whatta ya think?" Greeny: "You know Golic, the Jets are a big market team and with Favre, I think the J-E-T-S win up their easily...but the Jets better pack their parkas!" Golic: "We've got Jim Kelly here...Jim, how long do the Bills have left in Buffalo?"

    Putting the Sabol family in the Hall would be a good decision...growing up in the 60s and 70s, NFL Films was a driving factor in me becoming a pro football fan...the highlights, Facenda, the music...the Sabols made it all come together. I believe they helped create a generation on NFL fans and their election to the game's highest individual honor is indeed fitting.
