Living in the DC area, the Smithsonians get the nod...Franklin Institute in Philly also very good, along with Revolutionary War museum. Rock & Roll HOF was a pleasant surprise as I thought it'd be just Hard Rock Cafe without the hamburgers. When the kids were little, the Play Museum in Rochester was always a big hit. Baseball and pro football HOF also get huge props.

And a clunker in Indy, the last game of the season, where the Bills blew a 14-3 lead. The day before, Washington missed a chip shot FG at Cincinnati that would have given the Bills home field. I'll always believe that 1988 team had the goods to win the Super Bowl, if only the AFCCG was played at Rich.

Perhaps these people are investing in the team because it's cheaper than buying PSLs?

The bus lot was the go to spot for me. There was always someone too hung over and missed the bus and the group leader would unload tickets really cheap. Don't think I ever paid more than $10 for a ticket.

Have you seen the cost overruns associated with construction of the new stadium that the owner will now have to pony-up for?!?!? Ralph is cheap.

I don't know why Nike, New Era, '47, and the rest don't bring back these styles...in adult sizes of course...old bastards like myself would eat this up.

I've watched the three seasons of The Bear, and the restaurant Carmy has opened up is a place I'd never go to...we go out to eat when we're hungry and the dishes prepared at that restaurant just don't appeal to me...simply put, I'd never go to a place like that, but that's me. Our family rarely goes out to dinner anymore...it's just too damn expensive and half the time, I leave disappointed while dropping $150-200 for a meal for four. We have a great local chain here in the Northern Virginia area called Great American Restaurants. It's about a dozen spots, the food is always good, the service is excellent and you leave feeling you didn't get ripped off...our nights out usually consist to those restaurants.

We were big on JC Penney since they shipped to the store which was only about 10 minutes away (Northgate Plaza on Dewey Avenue in Greece, NY). In about 1970, NFL stuff really started to appear big time in the catalog and it grew during the decade. My brother and I had jerseys, hats, etc. from several teams. Kids, these were the days before Fanatics and Amazon.
