  1. NICE! He is on fire!!

You can tell he's got a little Mogilny streak in him...Alex would have those 3-4 game stretches where he would score 7 or 8 goals. Vanek is similar in that once he gets 1, you can almost see his game lift and he goes even harder for #2...

he could've had a hat trick but graciously passed to hecht on one play and then roy on another

  2. I'm a bit disappointed in the trailer. It looks more over the top than True Lies...but True Lies didn't take itself seriously.

What made the original Die Hard so great is that everyone who saw the movie at some point thought, "Wow, this could be me in my office building." Honestly, who doesn't look for possible ways you could stop a hostile takeover when you go to work?

  3. “Josh Reed and I were just talking about that,” McGahee said. “I said, ‘Josh, you think they are going to boo me when I come back?’ He was like, ‘Yeah, they are going to boo you.’ But you know, they were going to do that anyway, even if I had left on good terms.”

We love some of the players that leave. Take Marty Biron for example...I'm not booing him when his Flyers come back to Buffalo.

  4. I guess you know more about it then I do. I know of Sidebar, which has been open for a while and it is open past 2am.

That comes down to personal opinion. I will always love the Buffalo Bills, but if I had the money to live in Florida, and fly up to see the games then I would definately rather be in Florida.

Thats just my opinion. It seems as if everytime im in Buffalo there is not much to do. Rochester, has three major streets with just a ton to do. East, Monroe, and Lake are full of fun ... including fun that doesnt require someone being intoxicated.

I did my grad school in Rochester and undergrad in Buffalo. If you want to have a good time, you go and party in Buffalo.

Chippewa is like freaking Mardi Gras in New Orleans every Thursday to Saturday year round. I don't think you can drive through there because people are just walking in the streets.

Elmwood and Allentown are also places to check out. More of a mature crowd there it seems, but still packed.

  5. I don't watch South Park.

Though every time someone talks about it, I inevitably ask myself "Why the hell don't I watch South Park?"

I would rather chew broken glass.

    fantastic show for libertarians

hardcore liberals and crazy right wingers might not like it...if they do, they've got a great sense of humor or they don't know what's going on

  6. I have daydreams about selling my modest home in NH for about $350K (the going price) and moving back to the old hometown. If you know your neighborhgoods, there are real gems to be found. Nice homes in reletively safe, but unglamourous neighborhoods, for around $50K. (Sloan comes to mind) I'd bank the rest if I could find a way around capital gains taxes. Maybe if I wait until I'm 55?

You are spot on about politics holding WNY back. That's what you get when half the people hold government jobs. I mean do we need seperate city, county, and village police, fire, EMTs, etc? Turning Erie County into a single metro government would save tens of millions of tax dollars but the little dictators that hold sway would never give up the privilages of power or easy paychecks. Who cares how the rest of us are doing.

    PTR

what, you don't like filling out only one tax form each year? miss paying income tax and sales tax?

though with the way politics are going here, who knows how long NH will stay "Live Free or Die"
