  1. I went back and added up the average amount of points we scored when Holcomb started and finished games, and the average was at 22.85 (feel free to check my math) I then went back and look at the average amount of points we allowed in 2004, and we allowed 17.75 points a game. If we had a top ranked D, Holcomb would average us more than our opponents by 5 points on average. I haven't added up the average score for JP, and I'm not sure who to throw the Kansas game to.
  2. Peters has an 81 for run blocking (and since Madden is never wrong) , so I guess that answers our question as to whether or not he's a good run-blocker.
  3. 10-6 If I'm right I'll have reason to be happy during the season as well as now, If I'm wrong, well I might as well be happy about our team at some point and it won't be then, so why not now?
  4. They mentioned it in the news, but it was also mentioned that the only reason anyone cared was that he was related to the other Vick.
  5. Remember the 2004 chargers who surprised everyone and played extraordinarilly well? My dad, (since for this board a college student would be considered a very young one) is a chargers fan, and at the time he was describing all of the coaching moves are how the chargers got rid of some big name players, I believe David Boston and Marcellus Wiley, and instead got high motor guys who worked hard play after play. Last year my dad and I watch the Bills-Chargers game, and my dad said that Losman reminded him of a young Drew Brees when he had no offensive line. Are there differences, of course. Having arguably the best back in the NFL as well as the best TE will definitely make a difference. Is it likely that I've drank some of the pre-season cool-aid, absolutely. However there are striking similarities, as well as the chargers and dolphins both looking like the 2004 bills. That can be another topic though.
