  1. What better time to take a risk with the long ball than a pre-season game? (excluding practices) If that's the goal of our offense I want to see or read (west-coaster) that it was J.P. working with Evans, not Kelly.
  2. I believe Holcomb set a team record for passing accuracy last year at something around 67%. Most QB's never accomplish that in a year, especially not playing with the Brown's and Bill's O-Line for most of their careers. Not to mention, if Kelly isn't very accurate on deep throws then logically his accuracy for short-intermediate should be even higher.
  3. Is every team report this positive if not more so?
  4. Good Point
  5. Wouldn't being the son of Satan HELP our team make it to the playoffs? Come on someone must have sold their soul, was it so cheap that it only won us a 5-11 record?
  6. Philadelphia could have easily crushed Oakland if they had felt like it, maybe Carolina will pull all their starters after 2 plays in which case Buffalo 20 Carolina 17, Woo!
  7. True, but having a coach who know's what he's doing will certainly be nice
  8. His AYC is even lower if you remember to subtract that one throw against New England where he I don't remember if was luck, placement, or his work that got him about 40-50 yards after the catch.
  9. His sincerity is very refreshing, nice to see he cares more about proving to the world and himself as to who he is, as oppose to worrying about his next touchdown celebration or etc....
  10. My vote is Houston where he will be signed for a 2.5 M contract while the patriots offer him minimun veteran salary......wait a minute!
  11. At least it was a very honest post, besides being a geek isn't a bad thing.
  12. "Joey, have you ever been to a Turkish prison?"
  13. The problem is, even if Holcomb can lead the bills to a very productive season how many years can we get from him? I notice that everyone seems convinced that Holcomb can only lead the team to 8-8 at best, but there are so many more factors, of course with EMO gone, that raises another question as to KH productivity. I think the thing we need to keep in mind is that Marv said this is a rebuilding year. If he had pulled a TD and said we were playoff bound then we might use KH, but even if KH is the better QB as of now, would there be any point in using him, if we are rebuilding for 2007?
  14. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/133393 Notice how Prive's stats in Atlanta are very similar to that of buffalo - his one big year, other than Dallas? I don't think Price was ever that poor of a player or producer, a good #2 wideout will always look lackluster playing in a #1 role.
  15. I don't remember it offhand, but I think it costs almost as much to cut him than to keep him. Besides he is still starter worthy, just not nearly as worthy as the other 3.
  16. There are more important things in life than winning a football game? waaaaaa? Why hasn't anyone told me this!?
  17. Define better......... But I'm going to say JP, 2004 bills=2006 chargers and 2004 chargers=2006 bills (hey I can hope)
  18. We had a lot of pro-bowl alternates......
  19. I feel like we could have another survivor, except instead of using Bill Greats such as Jimbo and Thurman, we can have the likes of Coy Wire and Mike Williams
  20. I thought Bruschi WAS Chuck Norris and was just wearing a disguise this whole time
  21. Living on the west coast it's odd, but when it must have been 1990, I must have been 4 at the time. I realized that my lucky number was going to be 34, and then on TV I saw Thurman Thomas just amaze me. My only regret I wasn't old enough to fully appreciate him in his prime.
  22. I'd rather win, I want it to be Losman winning, but I'm gonna have to trust who Marv picks, since, well I won't really have a choice.
  23. I have a PS2 and I am so fixing Crowell's speed so that he IS faster than Posey. I guess these ratings just need to be taken as how scouts, and coaches see players to a degree, and the way they see some of our positions such as WR and RB is encouraging. Of course I haven't looked at all the other teams.
  24. Ideally, with Crowell and Fletcher, we wouldn't need Spikes to be what he used to be, however, I see your point. The next question I have for you then, is how much emphasis can we put on Spikes being back as the emotional leader. Psychologically, how important is it to have him back in there pushing our D to lock down on those third down plays, assuming that his presence will help.
  25. However, If TKO, London, Nate and Troy perform at 90% of what they did in 04 they will still be well above average. Crowell is a + as you said, it seems like the question comes down to the trenches.
