  1. The problem with Aiken is that I can't really see him as a #3 or #4, I feel like he'll either be our #2 or #5, if we don't rotate.
  2. I'll be more optimistic and say 55-58% completion and 19 TD's to 16 Int's. JP played much better the 2nd half of the season and I think that might be more on par.
  3. So far Parrish has the lead followed by Aiken then by Price and Reed. No one has voted for Davis. Oh and for the Nancer's I'm sorry I forgot about him.
  4. "A slimmer and hungrier – why didn’t he eat anything before the game – Willis McGahee is a big part of the equation, as the 61 yard td burst revealed, but Lee Evans, and Roscoe Parrish and maybe two or three others also have “chunkability”, as it were."
  5. After our first two preseason games, I think it's interesting to see how this is shaping up, as well as to see how it will be two preseason games from now.
  6. Now we need a survivor of the scapegoats Maybe a cameo from Big Bennie, speaking of which if you look at the Miami game guess who the first two penalties of the game are on? I'll give you a hint, it's not Mike Murlakey.
  7. I agree with The Balanced one, I think a rotational system would work extremly well for this team. However I remember reading the idea of Royal, McGahee, Evans, Price, and Reed as the 5 set and how Fairchild is playing around with formations with these 5. So I get the feeling we'll be seeing that formation a fair amount.
  8. Or a clickable smiley in a noose
  9. I don't think the fumbles will be a huge problem, but I mean 7-11 for 134 yards, sure 1 TD and 1 INT, but still if JP throws for that pass average or even somewhat close I would be stoked!
  10. Despite who we want to start or to coach or how we think we're gonna go, I love this team and I hope they do great. Despite whichever of you agree with me on my other posts and those who don't I just want a post that looks at the big picture that says this: I will love the Buffalo Bills as long as they live and I live, regardless if they go 16-0 or 0-16. GO BILLS!!!!! I think we all could agree on this, although if someone disagreed I would be utterly and absolutely shocked Now, I really should get some sleep
  11. Reed COULD start, maybe.... Wire could start, if all our other Safeties die by week one
  12. Although I get the feeling that half the forum will declare me the next holcomb advocate, since the Arm is MIA, I really really want to see Losman be the #1 QB the whole year, I think even if he sucks at Buffalo he could be great somewhere else with a better line. Now to the KH point: I think KH is getting a bum rap. I think he has great accuracy, he doesn't throw very far, but that doesn't mean that if you ask him to throw a pass over 15 yards his arm will fall off. Last year he was asked to come in and as a back-up he performed admirably. Saying KH is a failure due to the Jets game is saying that JP is a bust for the New Englad game, actually Kelly did better than JP game by game, but for some odd reason, if you're over the age of 30 you aren't allowed to have an off game. He didn't move himself to be started (Meathead) and honestly this is probably the only time in his career that he's had a chance to start on a team other than Cleveland. I like KH, I think he's done what we've asked and even though he's not happy that he lost his one chance (if he ever really had one) I think he will accept that because he really does seem like a good guy. I remember vets wanting him in, but I never once read an article where Kelly flat out said that he DIDN'T support the coaches decisions, regardless of personal feelings. I know this is a little biased being that it's mine research and therefore very fallible, but I honestly was trying to un-biased when I noticed that KH averaged us about 23 points a game last year WITH Bennie, Teague, CV, and Mike Williams being in charge of protecting him. Of course I also found stats that showed that about 60% of his passes went to EMO. The point is ignoring the Jets game KH had 8 TD's and 4 Int in 7 games and played well. Seriously, how many other QB's could play that well behind that line? He didn't play well enough to cover for our D, but to say KH sucks is rediculous. If Jauron and Marv cut him I'll support it because they know more about this than I do and I love the Bills. But, I honestly believe that A) KH has never had the luxury of getting a chance to prove himself on a good football team up to this point. (Assuming we are good) B) It's understandable to be dissapointed to lose a starting job after 4 pass attempts in a pre-season game. Besides I'm glad KH is dissapointed I'd rather have a player like that than one who doesn't seem to care like MW.
  13. Wait....I'm not a Math Major nor do I go to MIT, but I know one and have heard of the other let me see and I'm a treasurer for my club: On a scale of 0-1 1 being perfect QB 0 being Mike Williams as QB RJ = (Doug Flutie - Alex Van Pelt) / (Eli Manning) Doug Flutie > Alex Van Pelt Eli Manning > 0 Does this help anyone or hurt?
  14. Perhaps the bills should invest in circus acrobats who can catch....
  15. But Willis said he's better than LT
  16. How many board members will kill themselves when KH becomes our starter?
  17. http://nfl.com/gamecenter/live/NFL_20060810_CLE@PHI D. Lee for the Philadelphia defense has the least amount of sacks I have ever seen.
  18. Price, Reed, and Parrish all bring different things to the table. Do you think that will be good for us to exploit, such as Parrish against a base 4-3 while perhaps Reed against a Nickel zone, or do you think the defense will exploit it knowing who does what?
  19. Special Teams will show the league that #1 for a third year is quite likely.
  20. For teaching me nothing..... Anyways I just looked back through our games and come up with an interesting stats. Ignoring how many times KH and JP threw to the backs or any WR's other than EMO, Lee, JR, RP, and out TE's I'm going to show proportionally who each QB favored. KH: Completed passes went for 10.6 YPC Pre-"awakened JP" (Before the KC game) passes went for 10.2 yards The NOW JP passes went for 15 yards KH: 52% went to EMO for about 53% of his yards 16.5% went to Lee for about 20% of his yards 13% went to Reed for about 13% of his yards 7% went to Roscoe for about 7% of his yards 11.5% went to TE's for about 8% of his yards (Note I didn't round so this adds up to 101% of his yards, if you don't like it research it yourself ) Pre-"awakened"-JP: 31% went to EMO for 24% of his yards 28% went to Lee for about 35% of his yards 31% went to Reed for about 35% of his yards 10% went to TE's for about 6% of his yards NOW JP: 19% went to EMO for about 13% of his yards 40% went to Lee for about 49% of his yards 13% went to Reed for about 23% of his yards 13% went to Parrish for about 8% of his yards 13% went to TE's for about 7% of his yards From these stats are how the QB's spread the ball around, well I don't know where I'm going with this, but I'm sure everyone can read this and see in terms of QB choice, who strecthes the field, etc... etc....
  21. I know it's cliche, but I'm still new, this is my first time being the first one getting to blame him on a thread.
  22. I guess this could be a good source when those of us who will buy the game want to alter the ratings.
  23. Reggie Bush caught the Roadrunner, but then let him go because he wanted a real challenge.
