  1. Well at least Ellison looks like the real deal. Hopefully we hold on to him for quite a while. Anyone find it odd that our FS rookie looks like he's better at tackling that our SS rookie? Provided that these are accurate stats....
  2. That would mean in 5 games Kelsay would have 3 sacks and 22 tackles. That still is really good for a rotational DE.
  3. So far Kelsay is by far the most popular of the three in terms of who should get the axe. I haven't seen any of the games (due to living in the pacific timezone) but statswise Kelsay looks superior to Denney, is Denney that much better?
  4. Shaud "Midget Man" Williams
  5. Of our three DE's I'm curious to see who everyone believes is good enough to stay with the Bill's and who we should get rid of to be upgraded. Edit: Also I realized I didn't give an option for all of them to stay, but at the rate people are complaining I didn't think it would get voted much anyways. Tell me if I'm wrong.
  6. Wait? Could this be WHY teams with losing records still have pro-bowlers? NO-WAI
  7. Good Reply, besides who knows who on the team will majorly $%@# up in the next 11 weeks.
  8. Ladies and Gentlemen (pause) and members of this board Might I suggest a few points: Seattle > Arizona The Bear's D vs. the Bill's > The Bear's D vs. the Cardinals Just because a team is the number one ranked defense doesn't mean that they will play like it every week. If the Bear's D and O had played those first three quarters against the Seahawks they probably would have lost the game. I think this was a fluke game and Matt Leinart got lucky. Maybe he does have better timing and decision making than JP and will become the next superstar. However, to say we should have drafted him over a QB who for the most part is playing lightyears ahead of where he was last year, (which at the time most of us said would make us happy. My how that changes) after both teams have only played one team, is foolish. I don't care if Matt Leinart can walk on water because guess what? We didn't draft him. The End.
  9. If anyone thinks that the Bear's Defense represents normal D's speak now. Now JP has 5 TD's and 2 Int's and about a 63% percentage outside of the game. Our philosophy was to have a power running game and strong defense and all JP needed to do was play adequate. Those numbers above are what you'd find in an above average QB. My question is WHY are all of these games put on JP's shoulders? Aren't Willis and our D supposed to be pulling their weight? JP is not John Elway at this point in his career, but he shouldn't have to be.
  10. Maybe it's because I watched Seinfeld, but the "it" you guys are talking about and the "it" I think of are completly different, well unless there's something some of you know about JP personally
  11. Look at the player from this one, he's pretty good and I think he has incredible arm strength. He's also extremly hard to bring down in the backfield too. Maybe Marv will get him in the next draft. The solution to our problems
  12. A couple pages back I gave him a link to all the past drafts and an offer to make us an All-Pro Why the ^#%$ didn't we draft them team, but he didn't take me up on my offer
  13. Has anyone else noticed that JSP has not had another tard poll since he won. Come on JSP we both know that this week there have been some very prime canidates. Will you please set up a poll. Pretty please
  14. Quiet! More talk like that and you might anger the wrath of the board. After all it's easier saying someone else is wrong than looking at yourself and realizing you're contradicting yourself (again). The time for rational thought is done says I, I say we form a tribe on an island where the way to establish order is where we blow on a conch. We'll elect one or two leaders and be harrased by a beast that we will try to kill. Eventually some of the more aggressive posters will break off into their own tribe(after they have gone mad and killed one of the posters thinking he/she was the beast) and try to kill the remainder of us by setting our island on fire. Who's with me?
  15. On this game he went 5 for 5 at first http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/playbyplay/N...0050911_HOU@BUF
  16. I became a fan in 1990. But in my defense I was 4 at the time, the only thing I knew was that the #34 on the team was smaller than everyone else, but extraordinarily agile (like me) and I've remained one, and will remain one.
  17. As long as we're doing this, where are the threads for every single good player we didn't draft, because frankly, get over it. Losman has been average, if you ignore the Bear's game he's thrown 5 TD's and 2 INT's with a >60% completion percentage in 5 games. Who on this board WOULD have complained about that last year? Here you go http://www.nfl.com/draft/history/drafts Find us a nice A team that we should have drafted
  18. I'm not a doctor, but doesn't a sprained knee seem like a bad reason to put someone on IR? Maybe with Spikes back they thought he was expendable? Kelsay is leading our team with sacks....actually 4 sacks in 6 weeks, means he's on rate for 10 1/2 sacks. I hope this guy is awesome and also this way we keep Clements. Something WE'RE ALL happy about.
  19. On the bright side, at least we care enough to get upset, I think a life where one couldn't get passionate about anything would be very dull and boring.
  20. Dude we need anyone who is pulling their weight at this moment. It's not Clements fault that Jauron n' bunch decided to put McGee on their #1. Nate pulled his weight today.
  21. True, but would it be dumb if in return we get a solid player who is cheaper and can help a unit with less depth? Think of it this way, We keep CB's about as long as it takes for people to graduate high school. It doesn't matter how good of a GPA they have we still get rid of them regardless (where they move to the Vikings) and then somehow we find another bright student to track. It's the circle of....um.....fill in the blank
  22. No Damion Shelton?
  23. We both know you're exagerating a point and I agree with you, but typically CB's aren't really supposed to win games for us. Does that mean I think Clements is worth his paycheck, no not really, let's bring in a bonafide O-Line/D-Line person with the money instead. However, everyone was jumping to claim Nate was our biggest problem, but frankly that is untrue, he probably played as well, if not slightly better than most of our D, not that that is saying much.
  24. I am Emmit Smith Also http://nfl.com/players/playerpage/493120 Before todays game he had 26 catches for about 390 yards. Not great, but definitely not an elite WR either, we shouldn't have allowed what we did.
