  1. Well I am going to be in Rimini for most of the trip, but there will definitely be days that I will get to travel elsewhere. I'll be turning 21 when I arrive, which is great other than that it doesn't matter over there. I don't have a camera, but a lot of my friends do and I'll be sure to upload the pictures. Any info from you guys is great and I appreciate the help.
  2. I'm going to Italy for about 10 days starting April 2nd. Anyways I was wondering if anyone has ever been there or has any advice for what I should look at and see (minus the obvious: The city, the women, more women, etc...) while I am there?
  3. London Fletcher is gone, and we need a replacement. He was a good player, but we'll survive and that's the end of the story. That being said with all this London Fletcher debate I have a question. Can someone define a downfield tackler for a middle linebacker? I wasn't able to see all the games last season and that alone I know I will get flamed for, but I have a couple questions. 1. I found a site that said Brian Urlacher averages 10 TFL per season, last season London had 9, what's the difference? 2. Does anyone honestly think that with DT's like we had last year, would a MLB ever really have an opportunity to attack if the O-line would be the team opening holes? 3. How often is a MLB supposed to be able to get behind the line of scrimmage when it would seem that that position is most responsible for also helping in coverage? It's okay to be optimistic next season, and I certainly am. I think our passing game will be vastly improved and we'll actually WIN the battles in the trenches. That being said, do we really have to make an excuses for Marv for every single player we release. Anyone on the team can improve, and we can criticize anyone, but this is silly. Maybe London was a reason our run defense wasn't good, but if so there are many players on the team who are without a doubt much worse against the run than he is.
  4. Without DT's who can do their job, how could London Fletcher be anything, but a downhill tackler I think he's still underrated. I haven't been able to find any exact statistics, but in one Chris Brown blog he said London led the team in tackles for a loss (not proportionally though, that was Kelsay) and also led the team in tackles for a stop on 3rd down. Here's linky http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4562 I think that the drop off between a MLB like Fletcher playing behind a D-line that isn't very effective as oppose to a younger player behind a D-line that is effective won't be that drastic. It'll be easy for the young player to get experience and make plays.
  5. It's perfect and I don't mean perfect as in good, I mean perfect as in it couldn't be anymore _____ if it tried.
  6. More like WHEN McNabb goes down again.
  7. Pass the rose colored glasses please. I mean you might be right, but if you consider db solid...
  8. Anyways, I will miss Takeo and London, there was never a question that either of them played as hard as they could for us every sunday and would always work to improve our team. Best of luck to both of them. Kelly Holcomb, thanks for being that guy, the guy who had to come in second place, the guy who was getting a chance to win, but like every side character in a racing moving, we knew you wouldn't. Take care.
  9. While you're at it, everyone should also give a shout out to this guy http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=51041082
  10. You obviously haven't been looking very hard. We got a 3rd and 7th this year and a 3rd next year.
  11. Before you get depressed you should remember something, what often looks to be true in the off-season is true how often during the actual season? Remember, often times the guys we release who we think we'll miss, we don't and the guys we bring in either are better than we expected (see Peerless Price) or really let us down (see Tutan Reyes).
  12. I definitely felt more comfortable last year when we had ?'s at QB, WR, O-LINE !, TE, FB, DE, DT, SS, and FS.
  13. We're gonna get a 3rd round pick for next year
  14. At the rate he ages he will live forever and be king.
  15. I agree, that might be the funniest thing on Youtube
  16. No, Mel Kiper knows all and is secretly a ninja.
  17. Tell him that Lee Evans CLEARLY has a higher Madden rating. We all know those are completely accurate
  18. You mean the one game Craig Nall would have had a chance to play in, except he left for the Bills so he could have playing time?
  19. Here's my ratings: QB-Losman 84 RB-A Train 80 FB-Cieslak 78 WR-Evans 91 Price-80 Reed-80 Parrish-79 LT-Peters 91 LG-Dockery 86 C-Fowler 82 RG-Preston 79 RT-Walker 81 TE-Royal 81 DT-Tripplet 82 Williams 79 McCargo 77 DE-Schobel 94 Kelsay 85 LB-Crowell 86 Spikes 91 (madden will rate him high) Ellison 79 Wire 75 CB-Mcgee 84 Thomas 80 Youboty 79 S-Whitner 85 Simpson 81 K-Lindell 89 Moorman 98 (madden will still give him crappy speed)
  20. Until Andre Davis is resigned, and that's an if, we need a WR anyways.
  21. I don't know what I'm doing
  22. How could it be possible that NOT ONE PERSON AT ALL HAS EVEN THOUGHT TO MENTION JASON PETERS AS OUR NEW RUNNING BACK!!!! Come on people!
  23. I'm glad you included Roscoe Parrish, if there's one guy on the team who needed to be sent that message it's him.
  24. Yeah, I just checked ESPN. The only thing I found was that ESPN considers Tim Anderson a sleeper RFA.
