  3. Strength of schedule is determined at the end of the year because teams surprise you for better or for worse. Let's decide then if we had an easy schedule or not.
  4. Serves em right Hopefully, whatever made this person park there is only temporary and it won't happen again.
  5. I know I deserve and can do better, I just need to believe that.
  6. Well, thank you. Sometimes I feel like I'm too old for my age. As for the girl...well she's really good at liking me just enough for me not to get over her. I think she isn't ready for a serious relationship so the idea of being with me scares her. On the other hand, I might just be deluding myself. Something will work out.
  7. I'm a boy, early 20's, and have a friend who I really like that just wants to be friends. From the view of a guy I have some female friends who are just friends because I'm not attracted to. Some female friends I am attracted to, but I don't like their personalities enough to ever seriously consider anything beyond fantasy, then there are the rest. I asked out my friend who I liked and she turned me down. So, you need to be very careful because being in his situation potentially, when she shows affection or interest in me it makes me think maybe she is reconsidering. Then I see her interested in someone else, mentally call myself an idiot and act moody around her because I blame her for something that isn't her fault. And I'm more thoughtful than the average guy. Basically it would appear that your friend likes you enough that he doesn't want to upset you even over his own desire to be with you. That is really dangerous, because that means that this guy might not only really like you, but really care about you too, but not in the ONLY way you want him to. One good way you could try to lessen some of the tension is...well talk to him about other girls, he must be at least interested in others. If not, he's crazy. If you truly have no attraction to him, then what do you care if he starts seeing other girls. If the thought of him spending most of/all of his time with other girls bugs you, then you're not being entirely honest with yourself and you're holding yourself back. The girl I like goes out of her way sometimes to put me down. Not so much to be mean, but more so because I think deep down she wants to make sure she doesn't like me and make sure she isn't making she won't regret not being with me later down the line. She's very good at sending mixed messages and does just enough to make me think she might be interested. This boy was brave enough to put himself on the line and tell you how he feels. Make sure you are consistent and only act as a friend to him. Don't be flirty, don't run to him when you have a bad day, because my guess is he still really likes you and has just accepted the feelings aren't mutual.
  8. I got in a debate with one of my friends the other day as to what exactly, smart, intelligent, and wise mean. So, I figured I'd ask the board, how would you define the three. I think: Smart: The ability to rationally be put in a situation and figure things out Intelligent: The ability to learn something and retain that knowledge Wisdom: The ability to understand how a situation can impact things in the future and a person's ability to put things in perspective.

  10. I wonder if this has more to do with teams that can't be in prime time games in week 1. For example, maybe the NFL already has all of their tentative schedules and all the good teams are slated to play prime time 2-3 times already. HOPEFULLY a team like Denver didn't have any prime time games so the NFL wanted to throw them in somewhere to make sure they were hitting that market. At least that's the best possible scenario I can see out of this, although the idea of 16 games on a dart board where each dart means a prime time game on Monday, sounds pretty cool too.
  11. I guess to say that there are players who we expect consistency from who played well last year such as the players you listed above. However, I would guess that some guys have less job security than others when it comes to playing. Some guys could be cut next year like Royal instead of just being buried in a depth chart like Ellison. I guess I'm asking which guys could very easily mess-up themselves out of a job?
  12. Quarterbacks are known for having make or break years, but who else on the team really needs to step-up this year to prove they are worth being here/starting? I'll make a few suggestions: Lee Evans, is he worth keeping as our #1 receiver? I think Robert Royal is going to have to prove this year that he is worth keeping around. At least 32+ receptions. I also think that Chris Kelsay needs to prove he's worth starting. in 2006 he only got 5.5 sacks, but he also was good against the run, I think Chris Brown said that 17% of his tackles were behind the line. Ko Simpson, is he the real deal? I remember the INT he got against Green Bay in 2006, but if you watch that play, Nate Clements basically hit the ball right to him.
  13. Probably gotta go with Lee Evans, Josh Reed, Terrance McGee, and Chris Kelsay.
  14. Eric Moulds was drafted with the 24th pick and I'd say he played worthy of a top 5 pick. Just a little food for thought.
  15. Edwards and Losman each play a half a game, kind of like Warner and Leinart before Leinart's injury.
  16. I think the Bills are going to take the best player available. They might weigh who they think is the best depending on their needs at each position, but you draft the best player.
  17. Would he be considered a bust?
  18. Edge Who? Arizona is probably not going to draft any running back or at least not a starter.
  19. That's a pretty good bargain if you think about it.

  23. I agree LT is definitely a me me me guy, most spoiled guy in the league. He also has so much wear and tear on him, the Chargers really should cut him. In today's world, the exception to the rule players who stand out are definitely the majority. Just like how more people die from car crashes than heart attacks. Also if there is anyone we should cut, it's Terrence McGee. See he has had a chance to cover really good recievers like Reggie Wayne and now we're worried about him being our starting corner. Ashton Youboty has never covered a #1 receiver so therefore he has never failed at it. We're fine with him. I'm sure Marv will back me up on this one.
