  2. I think the line coach is a moron. I watched the 1st run from scrimmage against Minnesota. Our OL drove the whole defensive line back with ease. It didn't look like any kind of zone blocking either. The just lined up and drove the man in front of them. I wish they would do more of that, because defenses are getting too cute. You fix that, by running strait at them, hat on a hat. When defenders are running sideways with stunts, put a hat on his sorry ass and make him pay for being cute. An OLman driving into a sideways running defender is going to get owned.
  3. 3 TE set. The Bills have been passing a lot from this formation. Jets defenders play off their man too much in anticipation of a pass. Boobie gets the handoff instead for an immediate 11yd run for a 1st down......................but then a Bills offensive lineman gets flagged for holding.
  4. Pass rush is not getting it done. Bridgewater with time is a problem.
  5. Where is that Bills run defense today?
  6. How many turnovers so far? Geesh!
  7. Damn, Fred is still mister clutch.
  8. That sounds an awful lot like EJ.
  9. The Bills DLine loves to run stunts. Look what Marcel and Jerry were doing last week. They combined for 5 sacks because they were switching back and forth with plays designed to help each other get pressure. The results were unbelievable. Dareus was on fire but so was Hughes. At on point Marcel was double teamed and went between the 2 OLmen splitting them apart and just bull rushing the QB. The Patriots OL better be on their A game because these guys can definitely get to the QB. What really impressed me the most was this unit generated 6 sacks without Kyle Williams in the lineup. They are giving teams a lot of different looks and still getting the job done. Another impressive feat is the Bills are #1 in stopping 3rd down conversions. They like to stop the run and force 3rd and long situations then they really put the pressure on the QB. I have seen 1,3, 4 & 5 man fronts this year. They like to mix things up. Yes, I'm not kidding....they actually ran a play were there was only 1 man rushing the passer and everyone else dropped into coverage.
  10. Do you need to reserve parking at Hammer's. Haven't been to a Bills game in a long time and when my sister bought the tickets, she did not buy a parking pass. Suggestions?
  11. Brady's QBR was lower than Manuels until the Bengals game. Every time NE has face a top defense this year they have crumbled. I don't think Gronk's return is all that. I also don't think they have fixed their OL problems. This could very well be a blowout. You can bet that the Buffalo defense is foaming at the mouth to get after that NE offense. They managed to score some points against a weak unprepared Cincy defense.....that ain't happening this Sunday. Also, the NE defense is not what it used to be. The Bills will make some plays and I expect them to make it look relatively easy. Add in home field advantage and this could really get ugly for NE. Maybe I'm just overly pumped because I'm going to be there......but I don't think so.
  12. Sammy himself admitted that he has to pay closer attention to what is going on when the pocket breaks down so he help his QB out. Orton threw that ball sooner than he wanted to.
  13. Ok, I'm going to say it. The Buffalo defense is as good as any in the NFL. There is one reason and one reason only that they are not ranked higher.....the Buffalo offense. If the offense can stay on the field, sustain drives and score, the defense can easily move up to #1. These guys are good and defense wins championships. After watching Kyle Orton help to move the chains last week, I'm pretty confident about the offense, too. Suddenly the offense looks like it got just the spark it needed to explode. That being said, NE is going down.....hard. Can't wait. I'll be there along with my wife and sister. We're going to be there to watch the end of a dynasty. Going to get loud and raucous.
  14. None of those teams had a Sammy Watkins.....
  15. !@#$ ‏@m_giarratano 52m52 minutes ago Belichick said Sammy Watkins reminds him of a young Larry Fitzgerald. Revis will be shadowing him Sunday.
  16. Bengals didn't bring the heat against Brady. Brady will be facing the best defensive line they have faced this season when they come to the Ralph. Bills are going roll right over them. That okey doke crap they pulled on the Bengals ain't gonna work next week. Plus, that defense of theirs is over rated.
  17. Can't wait. I live up in Potsdam, NY. Grew up in Newfane, NY. We got a cottage on lake Ontario just north of Newfane. Will be there on Thursday to meet up with my younger sister. Just a short drive to the stadium from there. We'll be at the game along with some more family. Going to be a good one!
  18. They are also #1 in 3rd stop percentage.
  19. The comments below this article are hilarious!
  20. Judging from comments by some of the receivers, Orton took control of the offense from the get go. He told each receiver what he expected of them. I think EJ was being told what to do instead of taking command of the offense himself. Orton may not be Brady, Brees, Rivers etc, but he did what a veteran QB is expected to do....take charge. I really don't think Orton's throws exceptionally special. He just knows what to do and then goes out and get's the job done. I'm impressed that he was able to do this so quickly. You could see he was knocking some rust off in the 1st half, but what a great second half! Orton has been with the team long enough to know the plays. What separates him from EJ is that he makes it clear exactly how he wants routes to be run based on his own experience. If EJ communicates what he wants out of the receivers maybe he starts to perform better. He just needs to step up and take command instead of calling timeouts and running to the sideline so he can be told what to do.
  21. It was Fitz against NE the last time a Bills QB threw for 300+
  22. The TD and the 2pt conversion were huge. Going up against the #1 defense, I'd say not too shabby. Orton gets some more reps with the 1's and he could do some damage. And yes, the D should be recognized for their effort. I think they played better than the Detroit defense. May even move up in front of Detroit. Can the Bills have the #1 defense?
  23. Good field position again....wonder if they will actually do something with it.
  24. They are doing a good job right up the middle.
