  1. Dysfunction........seems to me the media is just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks. I was at the preseason game against Pittsburgh and I never saw EJ looking so good. I truly believe his preseason performance made Cassel expendable.
  2. Not the point. Karlos was completely healthy at that point. No way you can be predict what happened next...another injury. He may have to sit another week if the doctors think he should. The whole idea of sitting every playmaker on the team, mailing it in for a game and at some point in time working them back in is flawed. The team does not need to sacrifice a win by being tentative about starting. Once cleared by the doctors, it comes down to what is best for the team. People seem to forget that some of these guys have all ready been out for a while healing. Personally, I think some TT fanboys are afraid EJ will get some of the playmakers back in time to have a good game. Hell, TT might even be playing with a brace. Personally, I'd rather see the coaches make that decision based on what they think is best for the team and not worry about what might happen.
  3. If EJ comes in and plays well.....that's a good thing.
  4. Where do you come up with the 30%? None of these guys will play until cleared by doctors to begin with. Then the trainers run them through their paces to be certain they can play but mostly, it comes down to how well the player feels. If they feel like they can go without re-injury they do it. Being overly cautious does not win football games. This is a brutal sport and the way to win is to dish out more beatings than you receive. Backing down is not how you go about this. McCoy felt he could go and it turns out he was wrong. That happens. And as it turns out Karlos came right in and contributed nicely. I'm not saying that injuries should be ignored, but some of these guys have all ready been resting. They know that re-injuring themselves is bad for the team and for themselves. They aren't stupid. If they feel good, bottom line is they should jump right back in.
  5. We are going in to this game with the expectation of winning. If Watkins feels good, he's playing. If McCoy or Williams can play, they are going to play. You can't be scared of injuries.
  6. Sure fooled the defense though. Check for yourself. Wouldn't lie about that.
  7. Cassel may actually do very well in Dallas. They have one hell of an OL.
  8. EJ's preseason stats were top 5 in the league regardless of whether it was with or without scrubs. He was so far behind in the QB battle that it still didn't win him the job. Also, it was clear from the beginning that Rex had a man crush on TT. EJ never really had a chance.
  9. It's a good thing our D is getting all of these games early this year. Better to have all of the quick pass games now so they aren't trying to figure it out in the playoffs. They will find a way to beat these plays.
  10. Foot has to actually touch turf off sides to be off sides by rule. Didn't happen. Can cross the plane as long as the ball is kicked before foot actually touches turf over the line. Refs retaliating for Bills players mouthing off in previous game?
  11. I want to see the Dline get fired up and the offense to pass on 1st down.
  12. What is the injury to Glenn? Hope he isn't out too long.
  13. I know! Crossing route. screen,,,,
  14. We need the offense to heat up.
  15. Wide Right on the extra point. Is that a sign?
  16. "Bad things, man. Bad things." I'm OK with the name.
  17. I agree Brady is a big part of the success they have, but there is more to it. I was watching how helpless the defense was because of the presnap shifts. Usually the QB will send guys in motion and then wait for them to get set before starting the audible. With the system they are running, they simply are not using an audible. The very second that the guys in motion set, the ball is coming out, leaving the defense with no chance whatsoever to read the offense. This is why they had the mighty Bills defense backpedaling the whole game. The good news is Buffalo is doing a lot of the same types of presnap movement to throw defenses off. It's showing immediate results too. In fact some of the things NE does, they borrowed from Greg Roman's SF offenses. Buffalo has a lot more talent but they are just learning. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out later in the season to see if Buffalo can catch up.
  18. The Bills offense has been getting better each week. I'm expecting they put up a lot of points against a weak NYG defense. Giants are going to struggle against our defense. 44 - 16 Bills
  19. It was "rumbling, bumbling, stumbling" but who care's. Go Bills!!
  20. You can leave the fumblin' part out of that.
  21. That's second time Rambo hit Darby.
  22. Who is holding for that kick....terrible.
