  1. You're missing the fact that an obvious Diggs jersey being changed to Dick?
  2. I see Josh is still wearing that mitt on his left hand.
  3. That's a relief. They're going to be under water a lot in this game.
  4. There should be some shots. 20-30 yarders. That secondary really is weak. Maybe some longer than that too. One of their safeties is out.
  5. The only reason Miami was successful running the ball is because the Bills didn't put a lot of guys in the box. They stayed with a 2 high shell and kept the play in front of them. And Miami did not have a lot of success up the middle. The big runs were bounces to the outside and they were sending WRs downfield to draw coverage outside. It worked, but the big play was held in check. I think the Bills will continue to play this way, force the Jags to run, dink and dunk, longer drives and make mistakes. As the game goes on, the Bills offense should just pull ahead because they'll be able to mix things up and force their defense to defend the whole field better than the Jags can. Josh is definitely going to take some deep shots in this game because this team is weak giving up big pass plays. They are still going to run a lot but this Jags defense often leaves an opening for a QB to take off and run. Look for Allen to get some yards on the ground in this one. That defense is kind of hinky. The way they play a lot of man coverage and depend on their pass rush to get home is not a recipe for success. The pass percentage will increase in this game because of the way this defense plays. I think there's a good chance that the pass can open things up in the run game. If that happens, the Jags are toast. It's about 50% of the time and that's like 1st or 2nd in the league.
  6. Both teams have good defensive lines that can get after the QB. Only one team however, has a good offensive line. How do you win ball games? It all starts in the trenches.
  7. A lot of games didn't go the way I thought this week. Hope the trend continues. Now lets go Falcons!
  8. Matt Stafford happened.
  9. Hahaha. Missed FG
  10. One thing I am seeing is a larger percentage of pre-snap motions. What this does is, it gives Allen an opportunity to watch how the defense responds to that motion and identify what type of coverage they are in. The Saints are also doing this and there have been some early returns for both teams. These teams are being very deliberate in how they are attacking a defense. I think Josh is becoming a real headache for opposing defenses and not just because of his physical gifts. He's now winning by outwitting defenses by taking advantage of their weaknesses. Every type of coverage has a weakness and Josh is capitalizing on that. I'll go a step further, Josh isn't the only one identifying coverages. RBs, WRs and TEs are too. Players are finding soft spots in zone and identifying when they have opportunities going against man. The Bills have been extremely efficient and I think this is a big reason why. The offense is a well oiled machine right now. Let's hope it continues.
  11. Our Dline is going to be a problem for this team.
  12. Jax is playing man coverage 50% of the time. This could be the game we see our WRs getting more involved. I have no doubt Jax is going to throw everything they've got at Buffalo. Josh is going to be pressured, but teams that are this desperate for a win, make mistakes. I think on defense Josh will have opportunities to exploit an over aggressive pass rush. I also think that our own pass rush and back end is going to be a real problem for them. They are going to need the run to open up passing opportunities. Will they do it though? Jacksonville seems to be much better than their record would indicate. 0-7 over their last 7 games, though?.... The difference is Buffalo has shown that they can be a balanced offense and win, and Jax has not. Also, our fans are going to be merciless on this team. I think they are going to continue to shoot themselves in the foot with penalties and inconsistent play. To me it looks like all the pieces are coming together for a blow out win.
  13. I'm thinking a quick 15-25yd pass play will immediately soften them up to the run.
  14. I'm really curious what the 1st play from scrimmage will be for Buffalo's offense. We know Jacksonville likes to play a lot of man. Going to be interesting to see what the 1st drive is going to look like. I am not convinced that it's going to be run, run, pass in this one. I think against the Cards, the very 1st play was a pass to one of the TEs.
  15. Thanks for that. It's something that I think should be watched throughout the season. Teams are going to be running more league wide I think so it's a going to be important. Whoever is successful controlling the clock is going to win more, at least until defenses start bringing a safety up into the box again.
  16. It would be interesting to see time of possession here too. I would assume it's higher under Brady.
  17. I think so too. Hard to guess who has the big day.
  18. Offense: Cook and Coleman Defense: Rousseau and Oliver Special Teams: Shoot I can't remember his name....lol
  19. All of our DEs full go. Repeat, all of our DEs full go.....over.
  20. Another very under rated thing to mention is that Trevor is currently the second most sacked QB in the league. Our Dline is chomping at the bit right now. This could very well end up being a very ugly game for Jax. Most people are rightly worried about protecting Josh, but the big story this week could very well be about Trevor Lawrence's protection.
  21. The Jags have a really good Dline. Very much like Buffalo in that they can rush only 4 and put everyone else in coverage, and the front 4 can still put pressure on the QB. They are pretty aggressive so there will be opportunity both running and passing to take advantage of that aggressiveness.. I think we'll continue to see the RBs heavily involved. However, the Jags have not done so great preventing the pass thus far and we may see Allen taking some shots down field. It really depends on how well the Oline does at giving him time in the pocket. I think the Oline performing well is going to be the key to this game.
  22. Read that article yesterday. Some really good stuff in there.
  23. Yeah, that team is going places. Really talented and Stroud is making a name for himself too.
  24. I personally think the offense has been much less predictable since Brady took over. It wasn't just Cook that started getting more reps it was Shakir and Kincaid too. The problem before was that it was predominantly the Allen to Diggs show. As good as it was, defenses were double and tripling Diggs. I think as the season goes on we'll see more shots being taken downfield and more skill position players getting involved. Kincaid has seen very little action so far. Coleman was pretty active in the 1st game but not in the second. We're seeing running backs making catches more than we've seen since McCoy. This Jags team has given up a lot of passing plays so far this year and I'm thinking a 300+ yard game is coming. However it plays out, we're certainly seeing an effort to get more people involved in the offense. People have been complaining about WRs not catching as many passes, but many of those passes are going to RBs and TEs. Josh is still throwing the ball. There's no chance in hell that's ever going to stop, well at least until his arm falls off. Wouldn't be surprised if an OLman catches a pass sometime😄
  25. I think the predictability thing is over stated. That Cook TD on 4th an 3 was a perfect example.
