Every single player on Buffalo's roster is steaming mad about the loss to NE a couple of weeks ago because they know they should have taken them down then. Even the coach is pissed. I think we are going to see a massacre this weekend. Josh will be slinging the rock instead of run, run pass. The D is going to bring it on every single snap. And the coach isn't going to accept excuses from anyone. On a side note, I think the young DEs are going to get more play time because the older guys haven't been getting it done. Take a look at the snap counts against Carolina. Basham with over 40% of snaps? They plan to be more disruptive on that Dline. There's something in the air. I can smell it. As for the Oline, I think they too have much to prove. I like Spencer Brown's attitude. He's making some foolish rookie mistakes, but he's playing hard and we need that. I believe they have been through a lot throughout the season and they are going to leave it all on the field this weekend. Those guys are itching to give Josh and Singletary what they need. The offense from every lineman to each skill player is preparing for war this weekend. Massacre, I tell ya. The odor is pungent in the air. Something big is about to happen. I'd feel sorry for NE.....if it was any other team.

Bills won't be forced to run the ball for 70% of the snaps because of the wind this time around. Payback time. NE is about to run into a major reality check.

Just poking fun at the OP. Read a little of the thread before the game and that was the 1st thing that popped into my head when he went to get checked out...lol. -

Game Week: Week 15 Carolina Panthers at Bills thread

I wouldn't mind seeing Mitch play a lights out game against Carolina. Go in there and just obliterate them. Then when teams are dying to get a QB next year, the Bills have some good leverage to sell him to the highest bidder. Allen can rest and get some time with the coaches with a game plan the following week. Now is not a good time to risk him injuring himself further with that sprain. I can see why many are ok with playing Josh. Just seems like a bit of a panicky way of looking at it. Mitch can get the job done against this team anyway. The Bills are still in relatively good shape. They can survive a week without Josh. -

They only show wind speed every 4hrs. 2AM it dies down to 17mph. I think Josh should practice in the stadium when it's windy. Just to get a better feel for it. With the arm strength he has, he should be able to overcome some of the accuracy issues. Maybe he has.... -

So, a while back, I changed my DTV package to one that was less expensive. Mainly because my wife wanted Hallmark channel. Weird the lower package had the channel but the higher one didn't. Today I discovered that I don't have ESPN. Signed up for a free trial of HULU+ which has the game. Hoping everything works the way it's supposed to in these high winds. -

I am thinking this game will certainly be hard fought, but as the game wears on, the *Pats will begin to look out matched. We are going to win this game in the trenches and nobody is going to see that coming. The fat boys are back. We'll run the ball effectively. Josh will then put a dagger in their hearts with a little play action pass. The defense will play press coverage and disrupt that short passing game and the big uglies on the DL will make Mac uncomfortable. I see a couple of blitzes coming. That RT of NE's is 360lbs. Watch for a speed rush to that tub of lard's side. -

Wind may be petering out before or during the game. That advisory starts tonight and ends 10PM Monday night. Hard to say, but might not even be a factor. -

Bills Defense Should be Insulted and Pretty PO'd

Important stretch for NE. They play Bills, Colts, Bye, Bills. They could very well go on a 3 game losing streak here. The lead up to the playoffs is going to be fun. -

Yes I remember that thread. But run block how? This has been a bit of a conundrum for me. The RPO could be a handoff to a RB, Josh running or passing. Do they have a specific hole they are trying to open up for the running back. Is it zone blocking, pin and pull or some other blocking scheme. The thing is, I wonder what presnap info the OL is getting so they know how to block. I believe the RPO is useful if not over utilized, but with the multidimensional ways the play can be run it is evident the OLmen are often fighting a losing battle. I've seen Josh actually stick the ball in a RBs gut but not let go of the ball. The poor running back has no choice but to stop his forward progress and wait for Josh to let him go. Let the ball go. Sometime's Josh keeps it himself and often, you can literally see Josh trying to make up his mind while the running back is standing there motionless waiting with the ball in his gut. Sometimes, I think the RPO is just a bad call. OLmen not knowing which way the play is going to go. Josh taking too long to make up his mind and all the while the defense is attacking. I think the decision to have Josh take more snaps under center was a good decision. I see Josh handing the ball off more smoothly, giving the RB a better chance. I also see those RPOs are being run less frequently. There has been a shift in the way the offense is run in recent weeks and I have this itching feeling we are going to see something new this week. My mind is racing trying to figure out what it is. Will they pull a Chan Gailey and spread everyone out? Will they put 2 TEs on the field and play some smash mouth with NE. Pretty sure something is coming. Pretty sure it will be a plan that is aimed at improving the run game. But what? Just hope it isn't designed runs for Josh or an overabundance of RPOs. -

Good point. That and running fewer RPOs. They are actually calling run plays in the huddle, tipping the OLmen that they need to run block. Always wonder what the OL is expected to do when an RPO is called. -
Wow, that is big. Must take like a lunar year just to run around that guy. A blitz to that side might be effective. Or speed rush to the outside and leave Ed Oliver with plenty of room to take the inside move.

The idea is to wear something that will keep you dry. Once your clothing is soaked, you'll freeze your arse off. Poncho, rain coat...anything that is waterproof. Keep your feet dry too. Waterproof boots. Dress warm, but be sure to keep your clothing dry.

What makes a team "physical?" Well, it ain't leading the league in penalties.

Yeah, there has been a concerted effort to get the run game going, so Allen isn't trying to do it all himself. Pretty hard to do when you are playing backups on the OL. Make no mistake, the run will be a significant part of the game plan. Same with play action. And just when NE thinks they have the offense figured out, sneak in an RPO. You can see from the last couple of games, they have been trying to be more balanced. Now we get some big uglies back on the OL. I think you'll see an improvement.
