No he doesn't have a gun held to his head but he is paying his agent to do the best that he can. His agent then tells him what he thinks is the best thing to do and he is probably right since he is the one who negotiates contracts for a living. Maybin is doing what is prudent to do and you can't fault him for that. This sort of thing happens every year with many teams and yet you guys are always crabbing about it.

I remember that Houston come back game. I remember when Kelly got hurt. Nobody really thought that Frank could fill such big shoes. It looked bad. We were getting creamed. Something happened out there that day though. The Bill's scored and then again. Suddenly the game got interesting. The team began putting together drive after drive. They were determined. I remember thinking to myself that Houston was so far ahead that they probably never thought it would be possible to come back. Frank Reich pulled off the greatest come back in NFL playoff history. It was truly an amazing game. It didn't even matter what team you liked. If you were watching that game, you were rooting for the Bill's to win it at the end of that game.

I can't seem help laughing everytime Skooby starts a thread. The funny thing is even though many people think his posts are rediculous, there always seems to be a whole bunch of people discussing his topics. Perhaps his posts are not as foolish or pointless as you think. It seems to me that he has a tendency to wear his opinions on his sleeve. He expresses them openly and that can be interpreted that he is not so smart. I don't know that though. Look at the debate occurring in this thread and others as well.....some good stuff. Now don't get me wrong. He's no genious either, but his threads are actually entertaining if nothing else.

Game one the Bills pull off an upset because our Offensive Line proves it is clearly better than anyone anticipated. The Defense feeds off of the surprisingly unstoppable Offense and plays with a much more aggressive style. DJ finally finds himself and the naysayers stand there speechless with a goofy, dumbfounded look on their faces. This sets the tone for the remainder of the season. Go Bills! Who says the coaching staff had anything to do with "telegraphing" thier plans to run a no huddle? From the way I read it Sam Wyche is the one who looked at the players we were picking up and guessed that this is what we were doing. Next thing I knew there were articles about it all over the place.

How many times did you notice that the interior of our offensive line collapsed when Edwards was trying to stay in the pocket last season? You made some very interesting points but I think that the added linemen during the off-season will allow Edwards to stand in the pocket and pass without having drop back further and get caught by an outside speed rusher.
