Time Warner-NFL Network Bills-Jets Game
Rockinon replied to cuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Go to Time Warner Cable's Customer Support website and send them a message stating that you are dropping them as a service provider and going with someone else because they don't televise local Bill's games. For my area the website is https://www.timewarnercable.com/northeast/a...us.ashx?menu=25 Switch to someone else. If enough people do it, you can be that will light a fire under their butts. -
Time Warner-NFL Network Bills-Jets Game

TV used to be free. Telephone service used to be available for under 40 bucks a month. Gas used to be affordable. Have you looked at the price of hamburger lately? It's got to end somewhere. Start taking your business elsewhere and make them compete for your business where you can. -

Want to make Time Warner pay? Try this out http://nnycs.com. They offer services to all of New York State. I know it's not TV but if you get away from their bundled plans and let them know why they are losing you as a customer in droves, they'll have local games on TV real quick. That service offers telephone and high speed internet for $49.95. Time Warner, in my opinion has gotten too big for their britches and I'd love to see a local company take business away from them. -
Lynch may find himself on the bench when he returns...
Rockinon replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it would be great to bench Lynch for one game and let him stew. When he finally gets his chance he'll be playing with a chip on his shoulder. Then watch out. Are you listening Dick? This is how great coaches motivate their players. -
And you are a steaming pile of crap.

that's what I was thinkin' and it would not be funny....

If McKelvin doesn't fumble.......
Rockinon replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. By running the ball out he crosses the 20 yard line for better field position. Plus, by running the ball out you eat up clock giving NE less chance at coming back. How many times have we argued that this team needs to play to win instead of playing to not lose? I also have no problem with McKelvin bringing the ball out. His fumble was a costly mistake, yes but just learn from it and move on. Also, when he was interviewed after the game, he was asked if he would bring the ball out again. His reply was "yes". I like his attitude. -
Keep in mind that AVP only had 10 days before the start of the season as an OC. Under the circumstances he did one hell of a job. As the season progresses, I believe we will see more plays designed to get the ball in the hands of our deep threats. The thing that impresses me is that he actually devised a game plan that was working nicely for the most part. That is a pretty tall order considering the amount of time he had. His play calling is very good. What I speculate is that AVP will be opening the play book up gradually as the season goes on. He is all ready getting the offense to operate at a faster tempo so he can't just throw in plays that have not been practiced to perfection. He can utilize plays that they have and I think that is what he has done. Given some time, the fast tempo plus some practice at getting the ball deep will certainly develop.

Bill from NYC, I couldn't have said it better. Nice post. If Edwards comes out firing like he did in the preseason going 10 strait completed passes but then ends the drive with a TD.......... And if the D harasses Brady all night.......... Hey, it could happen.

It's a live feed. You cannot start at the beginning. -

I see a lot of over reacting here. For one thing, some of you people should go look at film of what Raji did in college before the draft. The kid was absolutely blowing up whole offensive lines almost single handedly. Green Bay was very fortunate to pick up someone so explosive. Everyone here is putting a lot of emphasis on Green Bay's 3-4 D, but the real problem Buffalo had was in dealing with an extremely tough bull rush. Green Bay will likely sweep thier division because they are stacked in that regard. Thier front four was simply out powering our offensive line. Very few teams in the NFL will be able to do that. One thing that does concern me is that Trent Edwards was clearly very uncomfortable and seemed to have no answer for it. He needs plays that can turn that kind of attack against his opponent. And as far as holding the ball too long, I think the play calling for pass plays was all wrong. He was simply waiting long enough for his man to be open. What happened to the screen pass? Or the quick 3 step drop and release on a timed play? Everyone wants to see the big play, but in the scenario that played out last night, Trent should have been dinking and dunking quick short yardage plays to put the Green Bay Defense on its heels.

3-4, 3-schmour. Bring it on baby! These guys have been mulling over this all through the off season. I think they will find a way to improve.

Teddy B could be on way out in NE
Rockinon replied to bills_fan_in_raleigh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was completely uncalled for. You act as if Bruschi was the only person on this planet that would come back like that and insinuating that no Bill would do the same is just plain ignorant. Take your sorry arse back over to the Patriots* message board so you can continue to disillusion yourself. -
Another Link. CBS News And another. Rototimes And another. Sporting News Can't yet find anything on how much. But I'm looking.

I was not completely dissapointed with the red zone offense. The TD by our tight end was great. Add TO and Hardy to the mix and it will get better. The thing that impressed me the most was Trent going 10 for 10 and also mixing up his throws to someone different throughout his couple of series. This offense is really moving the chains nicely even with backup QB's in there. This no huddle offense appears to be working nicely and you can't help thinking it could very well become something special with practice. Standing back and looking at thier overall success has me excited for the season. On defense. Four interceptions, a couple of sacks(one including a fumble recovery) and generally looking very aggressive. I like what I am seeing.
