    Stroud was a DT in a 4-3 scheme and not a nose tackle. And K. Mitchel absolutely can rush the passer. I've seen it. The thing is, the rush can come from a lot of different people. It' anybody's guess at this point.

    Don't forget the nose tackles. Dwan Edwards and Marcus Stroud are big boys too. Stroud often was double teamed as a defensive tackle. If Stroud is double teamed, one of our NTs get a sack. If the nose is doubled, the DEs get the sack. Sacks can come from a lot of different people. I expect to see the big guys on the line contributing on the sack front too.

    It will be about a balanced attack. Both running and throwing. More throwing against this team because that is their weakness. Look for Trent to throw a lot this game to RBs, Roscoe, Edwards and maybe even our new TE. There will be some play action because the Dolphin's will blitx a lot to hide their weak secondary.

    Looking at Stroud's age and the reports that he is in the best shape of his career is kind of interesting. I know. Mine too!

    I just hope he is able to pull it off better than Mularky, who was also considered deceptive. I remember a lot of gimmicky plays getting blown up.

    You are correct. Wood is a Center playing the Guard position, though. This Urbik guy can also play both positions as can Hangartner. It's all about versatility and depth. Our interior line is now suddenly in very good shape here. As for the tackle positions, we have depth too. We just don't know what kind of quality depth we have. I hope these guys can step it up.

    This isn't a bad site to look at who's available.National Football Post I see your point. I just don't see any talent at tackle. Kinda worries me. As for guard/center, we have at least three guys that can play both but only one is a backup. So yes, I know where you are coming from.

    Right! And they have mixing it up and playing cover 2 sometimes. The D is trying to use their strengths to an advantage and not locking onto a specific system.

    Good point, but the funny thing is I haven't heard or seen anything about him being better on special teams. Or about him tearing it up as WR. Was it Jackson, who was who was having problems running routes exactly the same way to disguise the play better? Seems I recall Chan saying something about it.

    Jones over Jackson surprises me. I guess I haven't really seen much from him and thought Jackson looked pretty good. Hardy just never seemed to be able to get anything going.

    You're thinking of moving Wood to C so we need depth at G? Personally, I think we are set for the interior of the OL. It's the edges that worry me.

    I sure hope they find a decent OT. That would be the icing on the cake, one sweet way to start the season.

    With all of the cuts coming in, is there a list somewhere of who is available? I think the Bills are holding off finalizing their 53 man roster to the very end in hopes of picking someone up. TE, OT maybe???

    How about this guy. Tim Shaw There have also been some OTs released recently, though none that I really know anything about yet.

    I agree with the respect bit. You have to earn that. But the call on this is game is dead wrong. Why? Because this team is poised to strike. I have seen the first team playing with a level of intensity that was lacking last year. Who cares what anyone else thinks. The Bills are simply hungrier and it shows. Bills by 7 Pts.

    Miami? In our home opener? I am taking that bet. And the prediction of 27-3....utterly ridiculous. No way we only score 3 points. Sportsbook.com deserves to lose on this bet.
