  1. Should we throw him a bone?
  2. With the new rookie wage scale, that can change.
  3. I'm real happy about all of our draft picks signing on the dotted line and for less than years past. Doesn't this mean that we have to spend more money elsewhere though? Isn't it odd that the news on top TE free agents is virtually non existent? And why is there no news about signing Poz's replacement other than some interest in Burnett? Have any of you noticed that anyone the Bill's have picked up in FA it came completely out of nowhere? And anyone that was highly publicized like Poz and Clabo the Bills lost in the exchange? Something is brewing behind the scenes and when we hear about it, it's going to be a complete surprise. We are going to get someone. I just hope it isn't going to start a riot when we hear about it. Tensions seem to be at an all time high for this time of year.
  4. A bit more reliable source.... Clabo to Bills. NFL Draft Update
  5. Jeeeeeze. Now that's a Bills fan.
  6. He's one of the better middle linebackers still unsigned.
  7. That is real good news. We need some.
  8. This is a smoke screen so we can land Clabo?
  9. I wonder when he will sign?
  10. Now that would make a big splash. I mean literally....a big splash. Apparently though, Atlanta is trying real hard to retain him.
  11. I can't think of a single interview that I didn't like. He always seems to be looking for ways to achieve positive change and he never allows himself to be backed into a corner. Really like his style.
  12. Not really surprised by this signing. We could have done worse. There are expected to be some cuts across the league in order to stay under the cap. That is where we are going to find some better quality talent. Keep your eyes peeled Buddy!
  13. Shoot. Palmer ain't the one that's hurting here.
  14. I wouldn't want to be the Jets or Pats anyway.
  15. Just curious. Out of the top 100 free agents, how many would you consider to be starting caliber?
  16. I've been trying to find a way to say the same thing. Good post. There seems to be a growing trend around here of what many consider to be "New Age" thinking. A lot of people like to toss around terms like "today's NFL" and use that to justify trying to put together a short-term winning team at all costs. Sad really. Is this what Bills fans have been reduced to? There is pretty clear evidence that the organization is trying to put together a long-term winning team, but there are a lot of dissenters. I don't want to be another Washington Redskin. I always laugh at the huge FA money that organization dumps every year only to be mediocre. We are moving in the right direction, I think. Kid's today just don't know how to be patient, I guess.
  17. The Bills are not going to take this laying down. Poz said himself that Buffalo is a priority.
  18. I live in a remote northern NY town and love the Adirondacks for hunting and fishing. After watching that video, I could just imagine taking Jasper for a little four wheeler trip up near our hunting camp. People from the south are genuinely amazed by how beautiful NY state really is. I wonder if he chews Grizzly wintergreen...
  19. This video is pretty cool. Seems like a very grounded country values kind of guy.
  20. I wouldn't want to be in front of him with a head of steam, that's for sure. I'm only 220lbs.
  21. Shoot, with his size he doesn't need to shed the defender. All he has to do is pancake him before the five mark and instantly be wide open. Oh, and report as an eligible receiver. Did anyone ever consider that the Bills may actually try him at RT tackle even though he was projected as a NT? He did play that position in college.
  22. He injured someone. A police officer no less, so it is kind of a big deal. He better hope he has a judge that will be lenient, and a head coach for that matter. Personally, I think he was on the outside looking in anyway as far as making a roster spot.
  23. Went to the AMVETS post and had about a dozen beer chips in front of me when my wife opened her big mouth about it being my birthday. Ah well. Played horse shoes until I couldn't see the stake anymore.
