Jets lost 8 games last year. WHO improved more...... them or us? Seriously, I can understand having some doubts but come on. If you really think the Jets will win, you need to snap out of it. Their offense is horrible. In order for them to win, they will need the defense to carry the load and frankly, I don't think they are that good. All the Bills need to do is stuff their run game and force them into passing situations and they are done. The Bills are going to score on them, just like they did last year. The offense has all ready proven that. It is the Jests that should be scared, not us. We score 24 points on them again and they are toast.

Even great defenses can't spend the majority of the games play time on the field. Which D will keep their offense on the field longer? Theirs or ours? Which O will help themselves out by converting 1st downs more? Theirs or ours? I'm not scared of their D and I am damn sure not scared of their O. You guys want to talk about the strengths of this Jets D but Fitz will be attacking their weaknesses, not their strengths. This is what you should focus on. I'm pretty sure that's how the whole offense is looking at it as well.

My guess is they want him to play day 1 or it's cut time. We have younger guys to fill in if he doesn't make the cut.

Just amused at the mass hysteria over a couple of meaningless preseason games. The Jets and Patriots have looked equally as bad or worse but it is this team that is doomed. My sentiments exactly.

The Jets have not scored a single TD in three consecutive preseason games. Are they really that bad? Probably not, but it is not looking good for them. Bills will win this game easy.

I don't see the offensive line as not physical. Put a healthy Eric Wood in and that changes the whole line. When a offensive guard doesn't have to make up for a center's deficiencies, he can focus on helping the tackle. You can say what you want about Fitz, but I would not be surprised if the passing game is clicking on all cylinders against the Jets. He is very average when he doesn't have starting receivers to throw to and he is hurried. But give him some targets that are getting open and he tends to get hot even when he doesn't have a lot of time to throw. Prediction The defense will have some breakdowns. How can they not with so many new and 2nd year players in prominant roles? They'll need some time to get it together, but from day 1 the defensive line will flash streaks of dominance. Offensively, I am a bit more optimistic. I don't see a blowout victory over the Jets, but it will be a convincing victory none the less. The critics can go F___ themselves.

It's going to be fun watching the defense for a change. The offense was fun to watch last year and I think will be this year as well. I know the Bills did some game planning for this Steelers game but I'm pretty sure they didn't open up the play book to much either. It's pretty amusing watching the overblown reactions to this game and the two previous games. In fact, I didn't even bother to watch this game after seeing the first two. Anyone who thinks these games are anything more than a glorified practice is nuts. The opening game against the Jets will be far more telling. BTW, anyone notice how PFF credited Kyle Williams for Mario's sacks? Kyle is making a lot of plays and will be a handful all season long. This whole defense is going to be good. I think I'll just sit back and enjoy the ride myself.

You know, I was OK with this line of reasoning at first. The thing that has been bothering me even more than Thigpen, is the play of one Brad Smith. Yikes!!! I know he did fairly well at converting 3rd downs last year, but he has to at the very least show something with his arm.

Dickerson has been making some catches. Corry has been a big special teams guy and a good blocker. Dickerson is younger. Corey may be a bit long in the tooth but I sure don't want to be the source of one of his blocks.

Does anyone here think this will be another less than 14 total points between both teams game again? I don't. Here's what I am looking for. The starting offense marches down the field and scores on the first possession. The second teamers put on a good show and put the game away before the 3rd stringers take over. Young continues to improve and puts some distance between himself and Thigpen. Our defensive line controls the Vikes O-line all game. We run the damn ball....all four quarters. Some of our Rookies make a case for themselves. Some of our recent non rookies step up and show some promise. Everyone stays healthy on both teams. What would you like to see?

You mean like when we had like 8 consecutive running plays inside the Redskins' 10 yard line and still couldn't punch it through? You do realize this was a scrimmage, right?

They did. They ran T. Choice several times into the heart of the defensive line from a couple of yards out and still couldn't get a TD out of it.

What I found most unsettling............Nothing.
