  1. There is always an argument for drafting starters in order to get the cap under control. Realistically though, in any draft class, how will 10 guys be able to do that? I realize that not all will replace starters, but that is still the goal. So is improving the team. Don't see how both can be achieved, even if some of them will only be eventual starters. If 3 or 4 of them can actually start, that's some pretty good scouting and a good draft. You can load up on rookies in hopes of some of them panning out, but that is done every year, not just this year.
  2. If the WR they want isn't there in the 1st, they could trade down and perhaps pick up a 3rd. I can't help thinking there will be an early run on WRs.
  3. Another possibility. Beane could go DL in the 1st then trade up in the second and grab a WR(Why wait until day 3). I think his off season moves give him some flexibility. Every year Beane does something I don't expect. It's almost guaranteed he'll do it again. Although, he might really surprise me and not do any trades. Perhaps your right, Alphadawg7. It just seems to me that moving up in the 1st to get his guy might be too rich.
  4. Some of them are going to be better than anyone coming out the draft too.
  5. Chinn is someone the Bills have shown interest in the past. He didn't do great in Carolina, but he was a DROY candidate(came in second place). Both Poyer and Hyde were very underrated when the Bills picked them up in free agency and look how that turned out. I think too that Beane/McDermot prefer someone with experience at this position over draft prospects. Not sure Jeremy Chinn is who they target, but there are a lot of under the radar players like this at the safety position. He could be great in our system.
  6. I'd like to see more deep routes for him. He has been great with the short passes but as others have noticed he gets hit immediately after catch a lot. He's not a big TE but still big enough that defenders do not want to wrap up and tackle. They often go low and he isn't going to stay healthy for long with those quick pass, quick hit plays. He had one great pass deep middle I think all year that resulted in a TD. He's fast but for some reason, they rarely used that. Yes, he is great at finding soft spots in the defense, but there is still always a defender close enough to drop him quickly. The deeper routes though, for a guy his size, is more deadly IMO. Downfield, he has a head of steam and a chance for run after the catch. The WRs are great at clearing out space for their teammates, but it seems that the TE is forgotten in this respect. He can really a much bigger asset if used like a deep threat. That doesn't mean stop finding soft spots in a zone defense but exploiting a slow LB is not done near enough.
  7. Just as you said that Goff got sacked
  8. Hahaha. Wouldn't that be something.
  9. I would. Kelce is slow. Taron can jump that route.
  10. This is where the game is won....
  11. Not if Taron has anything to say about it.
  12. Man am I stoked! Taron is playing if he cleared protocol. So will Rasul. Bills Mafia are going to rock the house. Our edge rushers are chomping at the bit. Josh has been spreading the ball around nicely. Cook is comatose off the field but he'll be heating up come game time. Chiefs players will be sprawled all over the field and looking around to see if anybody got the plate number of that truck. This is it! The game they've been hoping for. Go Bills!!!
  13. Good. Their mistake, then.
  14. Good thing Josh is tall, then.
  15. Texans beating themselves with these penalties.
  16. Agree. Stroud has been very composed under pressure. I really like this kid.
  17. Going for the knees on that hit.
  18. I thought he played for the Colts. Can take one to the house on kickoffs. Really good special teams pickup. Has only caught about 50% of passes thrown to him but he does go deep a lot. Really hasn't been given many opportunities in the NFL. He's fast though and can turn on a dime, juke someone right out of their socks.🤣
  19. Who says we have to keep it close? Why can't we just hang 40+ pts on them and call it a day
  20. The Bills have more weapons. This is a boat race the Bills have a clear advantage. I believe it'll be more than just a couple more plays.
  21. Both very well could. Kincaid is intriguing because, even though their LBs are pretty good, they can be tested by his speed. The thing that will be interesting is that all of Buffalo's receivers can go over the middle or attack the boundaries. Any CB or LB trying to cover them is going to have to deal with that and Buffalo has clearly exploited matchups like that all season.
  22. Add Shakir and Knox to that list. We've got way more weapons that have come up big in games for us this year.
  23. That will be Johnson's job. And he's good at it. Very good.
  24. Now compare the offenses. Advantage - Bills
