  1. We don't need to even harass them. The game will say it all.........................LOL Dolphin fans.
  2. I for one can give a rats patudy what the so called experts say. I can watch the games and draw my own conclusions. I don't care what offensive line we face on any team across the entire league. Our defensive line is as good as any and our linebackers are starting to show some real promise. We have depth in the backfield too. Our corners and safeties have been competing at a high level for a while now. Over all, I think our defense has some extreme talent. When our defense is defending the run, they stop the run. When they are defending the pass, they stop the pass. When they are uncertain about run or pass, that is when they have problems. Let's hope the coach is good enough to put them in position to be successful. Offensively, we currently have exactly what you would expect. A lot of young players and veterans playing positions they are not used to. However, there is a lot of talent here too. Our offense line is big and powerful. We have 2 guys on that line who are probowl worthy now and the rest are somewhat unknown at their current positions. I have no doubt though that they are working at getting better. I have been hearing a lot of complaints about play calling throughout the preseason. What I saw was a coaching staff intentionally putting the team in difficult situations and asking them to make it work anyway. That is how you get better. You don't look for the gimme's. You fight through difficult circumstances. The game against Chicago showed us many things we did not see in the preseason. Play calling is good and will get better. Robert Woods, Mike Williams and the rook are pretty damn good. Our running backs are pretty damn good. EJ is putting in the work. He is still going to make mistakes and I'm OK with that. What I am looking for is improvement. I saw signs of life in the Chicago game and I expect to see the game slow down for him throughout the season. Now as for Miami, this team had an obvious advantage on both the OL and DL. New England is in trouble this year. The question is how will our OL and DL stack up against this Miami unit? I think our DL will dominate(they will do this all season long against any team). Our offensive line is going to be tested, however if anyone here thinks our offensive line isn't significantly better than NE's you are completely lost. Miami is the team that is heavily under the gun in this game. I will wager that Moreno or whatever the RBs name, is going nowhere fast. Our D is 100% aware of him and that is really all it takes to beat Miami. Make Tanny win the game with his arm and we win easily. Squeeker? That's just silly. In their house maybe, but not this week. The Bills are just switching into second gear and haven't even floored it yet. Miami is going down hard. See ya!
  3. Miami won by dominating the line of scrimmage. They are going to be good this year.
  4. That stood out to me too. This team is turning it around. They had some tough calls but didn't whine about it. Instead, they just kept playing hard and ground out a win, on the road, against what looks like a very good team.
  5. Did you notice how much they were on the field? I think Chicago probably had a significant time of possession advantage. That is no surprise.
  6. Kyle Williams is awesome!!!
  7. Holy Schmidt! That was a great punt!
  8. Did they just call Mario's name?
  9. He could have gotten the 2 yds with his legs on that one. Oh well......just keep working.
  10. Nice wrapping up the ball at the end of that run Anthony!
  11. The comments on this board are hilarious.
  12. GAME ON!!! Nice fake EJ!
  13. OK. These guys are snoozing.
  14. C'mon Kyle, Mario, Jerry and Marcel! Make them PAY!!!!!!!!
  15. While I am excited about the Bills new found ability to stop the run, I am even more excited about our ability to stop the pass. Our defensive line can get to the QB. This is the best way to stop Chicago. Make Cutler antsy and the entire game shifts in our favor. Let that line pin their ears back and get after it. On offense, we are going to see some things. I expect to see some sloppy plays but this is not time to press the panic button. What I am looking for is some play calling that is not predictable, some improvement from EJ and a heavy dose of running against the worst run defense in the NFL. Go BILLS!!!!!
  16. Cutler is awful when you put pressure on him. We have the defensive line that can scramble his brain. I can't wait for this.
  17. OK...stop.....just stop.
  18. Funny..... you'd think a cantankerous old fart would like that old school music.
  19. Oh man, that was an awesome video. I am impressed by how many recent offensive plays in that vid and the defensive line section is bad ass. The section on turnovers was cool too. How can you look at these things and not be pumped about the coming year.
  20. I agree. Joe B. is a young man with a level head and I have enjoyed his articles on WGR.
  21. From a numerical point of view, you are correct. I think the OP is speaking more from an emotional point of view. Keep up the good work, Rookie. I like your attitude.
  22. Every game is important but the OP does have a point. Coming out in the season opener and setting the tone would be huge for this organization. And the following week would be electric. This team does not need to be cautiously optimistic like the disgruntled fans of this board. Throw caution to the wind for a moment. See in your minds eye the Bills defeating Chicago and then look ahead to the effect this will have on the fans and the crowd when the Bills step onto the field at our home opener. If you can't do that, you have lost something. And it ain't good. The Bear offense is no more elite than the defense they will be playing against.
