Yes in NY it would, failing to register a handgun in NY and being caught possessing it would be considered Criminal Possession of a Weapon. I'm not sure of the laws in Cali, I presume they are similar though. I have seen cases very similar in which the charge can be reduced or dropped given that the person possessing the weapon was not flaunting it or threatening the use of it. The case can altogether be dropped though if solid probable cause wasn't established as a reason to search the vehicle for weapons.

Yes, that is correct. I think they also get 1 free Stop Domestic Violence Class and several pre-paid DWI's.

Good point, I'm not buying into it until someone reports it. That LA county website is garbage too

Vince Young to Bills for a 3rd?

Or he'd pull out a shotgun and blow his brains out all over the field. -
The potential downsides of a Peters trade
generaLee83 replied to DazedandConfused's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So what?!?!!!??? Are you kidding me? Was it not apparent that his holdout hurt this team? He was fat, slow and penalized often, gave up numerous sacks which often resulted in fumbles or 3 and outs. The O line was better without him, he flat out sucked this season. He did not play at a pro bowl level this year by any means at all. Wasn't there also an incident where he stopped halfway into the tunnel to argue with some fans, that is most certainly childish and shoudl not be tolerated on a team of "character" players. -
The potential downsides of a Peters trade
generaLee83 replied to DazedandConfused's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A few fans? Peters held out and hurt this team, then gave up many sacks, had many penalties and is most certainly going to hold out again. Repeat same cycle next season. The offensive line played better when Peters was not there. Langston Walker held his own at LT and could most certainly start at that position next year. If the Bills were offered two 1st round picks they would be retarded to not take it. -
Agreed, he was hands down better than Hardy this season. Hopefully a good training camp and a willingness on the coaching staff to recognize his potential will only better his ability. Dick Jauron is a terrible talent evaluator though and will probably screw this one up because he seems to believe strongly in giving veterans the start. (Robert Royal, Terence McGee when injured etc.)

Ralph & His Inner Circle-Jerks Looking Even Stupider
generaLee83 replied to VJ91's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Solid post, call me a conspiracy theorist but if Ralph keeps making moves that result in him being hated then it's that much easier for him to part ways with the team and allow it to be relocated. -
He gets rewarded for making the decisions that the coaching staff should be making. Pretty sad that playing ability had nothing to do with it.

Julius Peppers wants out
generaLee83 replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most realistic post of this thread. There is no way that the Bills sign any top tier free agents this season. -
I would have disagreed three years ago when I was being spoon fed the Marv-Jauron kool aid. But after drinking Marv-Jauron Aid and having diarrhea and severe vomiting with suicidal tendencies for three seasons I've come to fully agree. If a group of criminals will play harder and act more alive than these r-tards then I'm all for it. Chris Kelsay honestly looks like an r-tard if you really look at him.

Who's record is 45-53 over last 6 years?
generaLee83 replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!!!!! To some of us it was more about the monumental collapse this season and the grand accompaniment of an 0-6 fukking record in the division. How many 0-6 divisional records did Gruden have? How many times did Gruden start 5-1 only to win 2 more games in a season? Fact: Jauron is a terrible coach who only beats terrible teams. Buffalo is the laughing stock of the NFL because they kept a perennial 7-9er while the rest of the league fired coaches with .500 or winning records who merely underperformed. -
Who says we need a receiver?

Edwards won't need surgery!

Big whoop. If it's not his shoulder it'll be something else next year. I never jumped on the "he's injury prone" bandwagon but I'm there now. He's a good quarterback who has the potential to become great but unfortunately he'll continue to miss 20% of his games. -
http://www.buffalonews.com/452/story/546585.html "I'd say our run front is shored up to a degree," said defensive end Chris Kelsay. "Obviously one thing we need is to generate more pressure on the quarterback. I'm sure we'll take steps this offseason to get that accomplished, whether it's the draft or free agency, or with the guys we have here." My version "I'd say our run front is shored up to a degree," said defensive end Chris Kelsay. "Obviously one thing we need is to generate more pressure on the quarterback, I know for damn sure that I haven't helped at all in this area. I'm sure we'll take steps this offseason to get that accomplished, whether it's the draft or free agency, or with the guys we have here. Although trying to fix this abomination with what we have here is kind of a joke I mean look at me. I am slow, usually out of position, stupid and weak. I love money though."

He could work well in Miami's offense at any of the positions.

I would have nothing to say if Peters played to an actual pro-bowl level this season. I would have nothing to say if his comments weren't so ridiculous. His delusions seem to match that of the rest of this Jauron led team. He is nowhere near the player he was last season and now with his 2nd pro-bowl nod why would he feel the need for improvement? You get testy because I suggest that he personally may not want to improve so if you have direct knowledge otherwise then tell me because his public comments seem to be brimming with confidence about his play. And what level of play are you talking about? The level of play in which he looked like a complete asss when a CB sprinted by him and knocked down the QB for the game winning fumble return last week? Are you talking about the frequent penalties and sacks given up?

Agreed except that Peters is now never going to accept the salary that the average starting LT makes. In Jason Peters mind he is the unquestioned best LT in football, he wants to get paid as such and I just don't think he is going to accept an average contract heavy with incentives at this point. Regarding your previous post about Peters' improvement in recent seasons while I agree that he has improved I just don't see why he would feel the need to improve at this point. His vocalizations sure don't seem to show any desire.

I think a few key errors are what separates average from stellar. Peters isn't even remotely aware of his few key errors and why should he be when his coach has done nothing but heap praise on him the entire season. I'm no football expert but I'm certainly not the only one who finds his appointment to the pro-bowl to be ridiculous.
