  1. We'll probably be in the 10-15 range. And since they have Ryan Harris at #24, it's the perfect spot to draft him!
  2. Quinn / Peterson / C. Johnson should occupy the top 3 picks. Next up is Jarett / K. Irons. I think Quentin falls somewhere in the 6-10 range, IMO.
  3. I think Gandy is going to be gone after this year. Especially if he has a solid 2006 campaign.
  4. Harris-Reyes-Fowler-Preston-Peters. I like it. A little early, but it's football.
  5. I remember the San Diego game. Flutie running it in, with two Bills slowing down, thinking he'd been contained. A missed FG by Jake Arians all but sealed that game. I also recall Moulds making a fabolous one-handed grab on our drive before Flutie put it away. Edit: And I'm pretty sure I do remember our special teams giving SD a big return on the Flutie drive.
  6. I can remember the other 2...I think. We played KC that year, where Johnson dove about 3 feet in the air, to get the TD at the pylon. That was the game where Moulds knocked down the attempted pass, in the endzone, to Gonzalez for the win. Hmmm, the last game of the 1999 season, vs. the Colts backups at home. And the playoff game against Tennessee, where the special teams screwed up one of his rare performances. Thanks to Darryl Porter, Marlo Perry, and that excellent special teams squad. That, ladies and gentlemen, is Rob Johnson's success in Buffalo...
  7. I remember that. That sign was at Rich in the first game of the 2000 season. I believe we won that game, with a last second FG.
  8. Not something you hear everyday, but freakin' good story. Where are your seats, BTW?
  9. 7-9 for me.
  10. One of those teams will be in LA in the next 3 years.
  11. Bills. Mostly because I like football better than hockey, and it's a better sport. For me, the Sabres season starts in January, full swing. I'll watch a Bills blowout over the start of a Sabres game.
  12. Joe Thomas.
  13. http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/custom...=15&sec=0&p0=43 Not quite.
  14. I don't think Marv/Jim are going to budge on this. They are set at a number of years they want him signed to. Donte is only hurting himself, a rookie needs to be in camp, learning with his teammates. I expect a 6yr deal will come about, because the money is right anyway.
  15. As everybody has said, I really like this signing. I liked his blue collar attitude blocking stlye in Baltimore, and he should pound some linebackers out of McGahee's tracks. What's interesting now, is what becomes of Shelton? Do we think he is wearing down? Another good training camp battle, and this time, it's at FB, because Goldsberry has been good in camp, thus far.
  16. GA Tech - Surprisingly, I'm not too worried about them. We should be 1-0 after this, but being on the road will always make it tougher. Penn St. - Yes, but I am pleased we have them in our place this year. Their last duel at South Bend was a classic, the Snow Bowl in '92 I believe. Should be the best/one of the best games of the year. Michigan - Not as worried as I was last year about them. They didn't show me much, came out very flat, not impressive. They'll get eaten alive at ND Stadium if they come out bad, because ND usually comes firing out of the gates. A pretty challenging schedule so far. Michigan St. - A surprise win last year at Notre Dame Stadium, in overtime. Great, mobile QB in Drew Stanton, who makes plays all over the field. This will be another high-scoring game, with the top 2 QB's in the nation battling it out. Spartan Stadium isn't as intimidating as it used to be, but they should be fired up for this one. This could be the trip-up game for the Irish, really worries me. Purdue - What's to say about the Boilermakers? We've owned them over the years, and I expect more of the same. Final score of about 39-13, in favor of the Irish. Don't see how we can lose against them, in our stadium nonetheless (knock on wood). Stanford - They put up a pretty nice fight against us last year, I'll give them that much. Seems like Stanford usually gives us a challenge, so I'm not making any bold predictions for this one. The middle game of a 3 game homestand for the Irish, with the last being UCLA. UCLA - Lost a lot of valuable players from the decent 2005 squad, their starting QB, RB, and TE. But they have a solid back in 2006 to pick up where Drew left off. A supposed rebuilding year for the Bruins, and the Irish should take advantage of that. Good thing it's at home, I hate playing road games on the West Coast. Navy - Started a bit flat last year against them, but picked it up as the game went on. Like Purdue, I don't see how we can lose this game, but you know they'll play it tough. Offensive firepower is just too much for their defense to handle, and will put the game out of reach, IMO, early. North Carolina - The Tar Heels have a very challenging year ahead of them. VA Tech, @ Clemson, @ Miami, @ Notre Dame, and NC State at home. I watched some of their games in the 2005 season, and their squad never gives up. Must be the right attitude their coach exudes. At least it's at home. Air Force - Much like Navy, we should take care of them early and often. And ALSO like Navy, they'll continue to put up a fight. Air Force, Stanford, and North Carolina we need to put away early. Army - Far and away Army's toughest opponent on their schedule. Like Purdue, not much to say on them, I expect another win, and to be undefeated, or one loss, going into the late season matchup with USC. USC - So fitting it's at the end of the schedule. If this game is HALF of what it was last year, then we're in for a real treat. Like you said, they lost a lot of offense, but USC always keeps bringing in top notch recruits. And their defense is improved from the last couple of years by a considerable amount. Good coaching battle, and game all along the board. There's my analysis on the Notre Dame schedule, can't wait for the season.
  17. Georgia Tech is not an impossible task, we beat Michigan IN THEIR HOUSE last year, and Penn St. we got at home. And the game last year could've went either way, since Leinart got pushed into the endzone. Plus they are without White, Bush, and Leinart.
  18. Took the words outta my mouth.
  19. Thinking of our most recent "performances", maybe it's not such a bad thing. LOL.
  20. The security isn't allowed to look back at the play. They have to be looking at the crowd at all times.
  21. Huge Notre Dame fan here. Anything less than a NC year, in 2006, is unacceptable. Weis will have that mentality for every year from now on, like it used to be.
  22. I'm really not sure about Price being safe. In this new era of Bills football, competition is everything, everybody can earn a job. He would've been safe under the old era, but not anymore, IMO.
  23. I don't Peerless Price or Andre Davis are completely safe. We have a lot of depth at the particular position, so any cuts could be made.
