For those that aren't aware (clearly there are quite a few), the timeline makes perfect sense. The substances found in late July would have been sent to a lab for testing (process which takes weeks for testing and subsequent result sent back).
-
An "unauthorized medication" doesn't sound like steroids or anything else illegal. It also doesn't mean anything banned by the NFL. Why would the border guards care about legal US substances that are banned by the NFL?
I don't know what medical items are unauthorized to enter the US with, but even if true this could be a lot of hoopla about nothing.
Or he could be a Quebecian drug mule.
There were two particular substances that he attempted to bring over.
I believe both are banned by the NFL; I know that one is for sure.

For what it's worth, I was fully aware of this in late July.
But when I saw this thread about "major news," figured it was fitting to put here.

Starting to break? 17 days is one helluva "start."
GO BILLS!!!
I posted the link merely because it substantiates (albeit weakly) what I am saying, and the "starting to break," was intended to be taken as the beginning of sites reporting it, not as sufficient proof by itself.
-
A report of a rumor on a website I've never heard of? That's enough proof for me.
PTR
Reading comprehension > you.
Where did I say it was sufficient proof?
-
I'm guessing you are that blogger on sportrac that was posted 17 days ago.... really breaking news.
You will see soon enough.

Starting to break.
Unless it was something legal but banned by the NFL
We have a winner.

haha; seriously?
But Merriman already got busted for the stuff. It would take stupidity to a new level if he tried to sneak it across the border himself.
Consider that level reached.
-
So he was caught with steroids crossing the boarder and didn't get arrested? That's considered international drug trafficking.
Not going into any more detail.
Like I said, I could not care less what anyone believes on here. But what I have said, happened.
-
Not buying it. he's really that stupid to go get the steroids himself and carry them across the border??
Yes. He is.
I really couldn't care less what you choose to buy.
-
Me to, really hoping it is an awful rumor someone just wanted to start.
It's not.
It'll break sooner or later.
Edit: Know what he was caught with, but I won't get specific.
-
Merriman being caught with steroids at the border.
Not sure if it'll hit the public eye now, later, or not at all - but you heard it here.
-
But based on these "laws," apparently I can send email or browse the web while driving, but I can't text?
You can text while stopped at a red light, since you're not technically "driving."
-
Pretty much born into it.
-
what does this mean?
As far as I know, IIRC.
-
But name one HC who went 10 years between top jobs, let alone a guy who has success that far apart?
Dick Vermeil?

Whatever player helps either of the two lines the most.

I'll be there this weekend.

We will not beat the Patriots as long as Belichick is their coach, and Jauron is ours.
I expect a final score of 41-13, or somewhere in that margin.

Just bought my tickets and made my hotel reservations to go see Ralph and Bruce get inducted into Canton...
A question for any others who have went / are going:
When you get to Canton, I remember there being a shuttle bus of some sort, that takes you within walking distance of Fawcett Stadium. Then after it's over, you walk back, and that bus is waiting for you. I believe it's designated for those going to the event. I went to the Thurman Thomas induction a couple years back, and I forget how it's organized.
Anyone know the exact location of one these shuttle buses? I vaguely remember it being near some sort of fairground, but I could be wrong. We drove from Cleveland to Canton, and we forgot how we came upon it. We'd like to know exactly where we're going before we take off, and figured that one of the members here would know what buses I'm referring to.
Thanks for reading.

No emotion. That is why Gus Johnson is my favorite.
"Watch out...BANG! Rosssscoe Parrish down the sideline!!!!!!! Touch....!!!...down...BUFFALO!!!!!! NO FLAGS!!!!
Amen.
That's his call from the 2007 Opener against the Broncos, I believe.

who the hell would want them? Thats like Beverly Hills trying to get a Dollar General on Rodeo Drive.......
Great point.
Guess we're stuck with this team full of f/aggot coaches and f/aggot players, huh?

I swear, watching the Bills this year was like getting kicked in the nuts each Sunday.
How will it be different than the past decade?
Who is Patrick Moran? Supposedly major news.

Because it's irrelevant.
If it's banned by the NFL, would it matter if it was called "hemoglobin bioclopsin?" No, it wouldn't.
