Well, March 9th renew deadline is coming for season tickets. I have a seat and a guy I work with has the other. On Monday I came into his office to tell him I am already to renew he on the other hand has some doubts and it made me think. The season ticket is $540 dollars. 9 games 7 regular and 2 crappy preseason games. That is 60 dollars a game or almost 80 if you take the preseason games out of it. Now I know this is dirt cheap for NFL season tickets but I feel I am paying for dirt. The next thing that crossed are mind is this awful schedule. The 4 AFC East games (In my opinion all losses) I think I may look forward to a Miami December game but that is it. Bucs? Saints? Colts, like to see Peyton, haven't seen him since Rob Johnson was the QB, but that most likely be a loss. Games I will go to: Home Opener (No Matter the Oponent) Texans Browns Maybe, Miami in December. So 4 games max, even if I be 2 tickets in the upper deck I am looking at $480 dollars. Lynch issues, Jauron still here, and these wonderful free agent signings I feel like I am renewing a lease on a '86 Chyrsler Aries K! Any other season ticketholders in the same boat?

Who Picked Those Colors for the Titans in 1960???
sds7973 replied to VJ91's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also do not like the NY Titans unis. I was also glad to see them worn twice already which means I won't see them again till next year. My idea for a Jet alternate/throwback. Is to wear the old 80-90s uni with the Jets name on the side of the helmet. I kind of miss seeing the Bills smack around a team in that uniform. -
Just "won" an authentic throwback Whitner jersey
sds7973 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me thinks the NFL uses some factories in Asia or India to make a majority of there overpriced crap. So who is better? I got my $60 "authentic" throwback whitner off ebay too, and you know what? It looks pretty damn good to me, better than a screen printed $70 jobber from nfl.com. $300 for an authentic jersey tells me one thing, you have way to much money to burn on a peice of clothing you wear what 20 times a year. -
Holy Crap, that was funny!

Denver and Ed Hocoli (sp?) beat SD.

Bills @ Broncos Sunday Night currently has San Diego @ Tampa = Good Possibility if Bills and Donks keep it up NE Cheaters @ Bills Sunday Night currently has No one it is a FLEX GAME there choice = Good chance too if it is for the AFC East Look ing at Sunday Night's Schedule I can't beleive Tampa gets two Sunday Night Games, I know they went to the playoffs last year but 2 spots on Sunday night?

A buddy in my fantasy league notified me that Rochester has 2 sports radio stations! Can't beleive Rochester has 2 and Buffalo has 1! 1280 AM which has been a sports station since I have been here. Now 950 AM is an "ESPN" sports station which switched formats from a liberal talk station. Mike & Mike switches to 950. Rome stays on 1280. "Cow-turd" is on 950. And "Dope and Bulldog" are now on 950. Another interesting tidbit is Sabres games will be broadcast on 950 (nothing new) but also on WCMF which is great because 950 signal strength sucks. -Just thought I'd pass this on to the Rochester Bills fans. -
I am loving tonight! If you get a chance go to the Pat's Forums. They are upset about the rest of the NFL fans reation to Brady going down. You know what "Boston" fan? Ha, Ha, it's called Karma and hope that rotton dynasty goes down in flames!!

It was the hotdog stand across the road from the Bills North Lot. It's where my parents have parked for games since the dawn of time. Parking was hell thta night we ended up parking way east of staduim and marching in for the game. My favorite memories of that Monday game was... At the crosswalks you were walking on aluminum due to the crushed empties that littered the roads. Seeing the 97 Rock crew drunk on the air... Also seeing Goose and Miller from the Sabres at the 97 Rock tent drinking beers! That game ranks in my Top 5 games of all time eventhough the outcome was less than stellar.

Row 14 Section 130 Look for..... A crazy idiot wearing a Whitner throwback and a Yuengling cowboy hat. Oh and a Tootie Flutie that almost got confiscated at the Ice Bowl. ..>Go Bills!!!!! for we are here cheer for you! <..

Chad Pennington!? Ha Ha Ha Ha. Why would I want a wet noodle quarterback. At least JP can make a throw Pennington only dreams about.

Two Points.. The yellow school buses are because the city of rochester is funded by the federal goverment and can no longer "bid" to provide busing for private events. This has been a total pain in the arse in rochester. Where for every major event in rochester (JP Chase Race, Lilac Festival, etc.) we have had to ride the majic school buses. It is really nothing the Bills can do about it. As for few vendors giving out freebies, has anyone heard of the thing called a recession? During one of these recessions companies try to do things to save money like not give away free stuff!

I have been shopping around and I need a new jersey to kick this season off. Last year I pulled out my Speilman Home from the mothballs and that got some high fives. But I want a new one. Here are the jerseys I have been thinking about. Let me know what you think. 1) Whitner Throwback (I am considering him the new Defensive Leader and I like his attitude about getting to the playoffs) 2) Lynch Throwback (Hit and Runner that is a Beast!) 3) Lynch Dark Blue (Hit and Runner in an uglier uniform!) 4) Poz Dark Blue (I was a linebacker in High School and the guy screams blue collar WNYer even though he is not from here.) 5) Thurman 1994 Vintage (A lot of money but a HOF jersey I can where till it falls apart, also got the 35 patch and the NFL diamond patch) Your comments will be greatly apreciated. P.S. Peters please come to camp, I am sure the old man will work something out with you, or are you hiding something. Be a man live up to your part of the contract show up and ask your boss for a raise.

I think there was more interesting points about this article. 1) Him mentioning that Cleveland, Buffalo and Pittsburg as declining cities and the future may be in doubt for these cities. I think this all depends which way the current owners and the commish want to do to the league. DO they want a team in LA? DO they want a team in Toronto? DO they want a team in London or Mexico City? The current and future owners have the power. The only thing the fans can do is not by the NFL branded crap and stop watching football. Two things I do not in the future. 2) He talks about how Giants fans are moaning about the licensing fees they add to the season tickets. For any of you who don't know about this policy. (Dallas already does it) You buy the rights to purchase your season tickets for a certain period of time. Dallas and NY are doing this to pay for their brand new stadiums. So you have your up front seat license fee for x amount of years and then you buy your season tickets every year. All I can say is yikes, and I thank heaven that my seat at the Ralph was just shy under $500. Folks, we are on the verge of being out priced by this league. I can't imagine what 10 years from now what this league will look like. So I for one will live up these last few years at the Ralph before the a. leave for what ever megaopolis or b. charge so much for a seat that I can't afford. Wow, I hate Mondays......
