  1. Yeah, but the refs will still screw us. Tomorrow, when we are on the verge of winning the game, oops, here comes a late flag. Touchdown reversed! Mark it!
  2. My friend, nobody hates the Dolphins more than me. I lived in South Florida and lived the wrath of their fury. Short of a plane crash, I wish the worst on them...on the playing field...not personally, of course.
  3. We lost to the Redskins who were phenomenal that year (especially their offense--they score like 560 points that year) and Dallas who was one of the greatest teams ever. We have nothing to be ashamed of. The problem as I see as well, was that Walt Corey's defensive schemes did not play to our strengths. Another thing was, we were too small up front defensively. If Smerlas played for us one more year, we would have beaten the Giants.
  4. If he continues to yell at his players like a maniac like he did on the DB called for hands to the face, one of the players will deck him and deservedly so. This isn't the minors anymore, douchebag! Any Miami loss=Bills win, at least for me.
  5. You guys will be lucky to win 7 games this year. You have the most over-rated team and the most over-rated quarterback in the history of the game. You also have Mularkey. The media jumps on you guys because you're the Dallas Cowboys of the AFC East. A lot of talk with no substance. I'm betting we will end up ahead of you with an 8-8 record. Betting line on Culpeppers turnovers tonight 3 1/2
  6. This is why Bellichick is an outstanding coach. He knows what the media is saying and that his players might be feeling a little overconfident. So he puts out these comments publicly to get his players not to get too cocky. He also, at the same time, shows the Bills respect, to counteract any chip on the shoulders the media has supplied them over and over again. Good move on BB's part.
  7. I'm surprise, you expect anything different from the incompetent writers of any Florida paper. The Orlando Sentinel, West Palm Beach Post, and the Miami Herald are all garbage...and I'm being kind.
  8. Exactly! Bills fans almost find it customary to get screwed...especially against the league's darlings...the BradyBruschifags.
  9. ...that we lose some games because of controversial calls this year. I know this sounds paranoid, but I'm expecting the overwhwlming media bias against the Bills will filter down to the referees. Since we know our Invis-bills are never ever noted on ESPN, and periodically trashed on radio stations across the country, you can expect the referees who will hear this nonsense, will have very little respect for our beloved team. This will translate to very bad timing of the little yellow flags thrown against our heroes. Then, if that wasn't enough, there is the NFL agenda of big market teams or "traditional promotable" teams such as Pitt or GB (see last year's Toilet Bowl), that will get those mysterious calls at the right time every time, or in our case the wrong time, all the time. I believe this will set us back at least three wins this year starting with the opener. It will be impossible to win a tight game in their home park. I know some of you will say I'm nuts, but we do have an interesting history of games as such, don't we?
  10. By week 6, we'll wish the season was over. just kidding, I hope.
  11. Exactly! Even if we play a tight game, there will be a game-turning flag thrown for a mysterious holding call that will give the Pats the game. There's no way the powerful media machine will let the lowly, small market, invisible Bills win this one.
  12. That depends on how much money the refs have on the game.
  13. Face it, you guys are in serious trouble. 8-8 at best.
  14. I agree..Reed will be more valuable as a blocker for McGahee and downfield for the other wideouts at the very least.
  15. I actually see the same thing...with our defense not equipped to stop Brady just yet. We are not up to snuff with the Cover 2. It will take six to seven games before our D starts to get comfortable with the new D and new players. If the O doesn't turn the ball over, they will be the better half at this juncture. JMO.
  16. People mocked me but I called it three weeks ago. I'm too lazy to look for the thread, though. Of course, nothing has happened yet.
  17. Well, in that case..I find it to be over-obvious drivel. I prefer to scroll right past it to the next message.
  18. That would make sense.
  19. Hasn't it been said over and over again that the SS makes the call in the cover two D and is the most important position (which is why we reached for one in the first round?). Saying that, I thought the middle linebacker was the one making the calls and considered the leader on most defenses? But, I could be wrong.
  20. If I saw the play, I probably would have thought the same thing. Don't take it badly, we live in rude times due to the internet. A TE signed for a big deal because of his blocking should not be pushed back by a "light" defensive end rookie. Sometimes it only takes a few plays to get a gut feel about a player. So when, somebody responds like that, just tell him to STFU.
  21. Patience...Marv will have the last laugh. And then it will be our turn. Oh by the way, Peter..how's Mike Williams?
  22. Yes, another option is Fast Freddie who has shown good things when given the time. Wilson to the PS. My gut tells me Davis has bust written all over him.
  23. Excluding Fletcher, Schoebel, the big RT, and possibly Evans, I would say the rest of the starters are a big ?
  24. BE prepared for a half-season of voluminous amount of mistakes: a cornucopia of penalties and a potpourri of turnovers!
