  1. Dude ***** Taiwan Jones. That MFer just got in the way. I never noticed him unless he was massively screwing up
  2. When the Raiders didn't pick up his 5th year option this was laughably predictable. He had 3000 yards and 28 TDs in 3 seasons and Mcdanial's said they didn't pick up his option because they weren't sure his practice habits. Stupid.
  3. I was really looking forward to seeing him play this year. Been one of my favorite players for a while. Sucks
  4. The only way this team misses the playoffs is if Kyle Allen starts 6 games or more
  5. I voted Jones. I’m higher on him than most as he has a pretty good skill set. Daboll may be able to get him to be a good starter, but that could go south very quickly.
  6. Oh please, he had a great o line, a top running attack and a few young WRs. He was hurt, but he also didn't lack for talent. I am very curious to see how he does with the Jets. For the first time in his career he is playing for a defensive minded HC and his OC was an absolutely train wreck when he was in charge of the offense on his own (with a damn good QB too). The Jets will be better, but I think Rodgers days as an MVP level QB are long gone
  7. I wouldn't be shocked by this. The division is pretty good top to bottom and the Jets lost their last 6 games last year. Of course they will be better with Rodgers, but Hackett is the wildcard here. He was laughably bad as a HC and apparently his plan is to let Rodgers do everything https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nathaniel-hackett-jets-will-give-aaron-rodgers-freedom-to-run-the-offense
  8. I told my brother I want a big mean SOB with a big ass in the draft and we got one
  9. I haven't spent any of my money earned from football either
  10. Is Josh becoming too commercialized? What’s next, people going to be wearing his jersey!
  11. What if they had ended up Jalen Raegor? Believe me, I know hindsight, but that was the right call
  12. Oh no Anyway…
  13. In HS we got a number called in and the number corresponding to a formation and play. Gave us more time in the huddle and to look over the defense
  14. It’s weird if nothing else. No professor was willing to sign off on the national champion QB to get his degree after 7 years of school?
  15. Yup. His induction is more about the story than his stats. You can’t tell the history of the NFL without SB3 being a huge part of it
  16. Oh I agree. If shakir had been more ready it might have been ok. Crowder was/is a good player. I didn’t mind him as the option but I did worry about his injury history Gabe was ok as a number 2. But he didn’t do enough to be as consistent if a threat
  17. Crowder getting hurt blew up the plan
  18. Joined in 2006 so I was a junior in HS. Since then I attended two colleges (Le Moyne and UB) got my bachelors in Environmental Policy and psychology. Spent time in Yosemite National Park as an intern, that was a pretty sweet gig Worked as an environmental educator in the Hudson Valley for a year Went to school at RIT for my masters in Sustainability Systems. Have had 3 jobs since then and about to start a new one in a few weeks. Got Married 5 years ago in June and we just welcomed our second child yesterday actually. My son is 22 months and daughter is a day old
  19. Wilson played arguably his best game as a pro against the Bills. He had 154 yards passing, he was hardly the reason they won. That game was lost by the Bills O line
  20. I wouldn’t be shocked if they had a huge regression. They were the worst defense in the league two years ago. They get a corner and suddenly they are unstoppable? Jets are a team with sky high expectations and IMO have not really earned it Is a 40 year old QB really the missing piece? Personally I’m skeptical
  21. Anyone got the pre-season schedule?
  22. I think that’s smart. Putting the NY teams against each other in 9/11 seems wrong
  23. Hopefully with similar results
  24. Same. I was always in the camp of "I hope it isn't true" Some of the report was scary but it did seem a bit off. Bills had no choice. They werent going to take the backlash over a punter when the team had SB aspirations
