Aaron Rodgers limping at Jets OTA's
Captain Hindsight replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean it’s May, he’s got time to recover. But that would be pretty concerning, if my name was Spags- 126 replies

What to do with the post June $10 M that will be available
Captain Hindsight replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
You might need more than 10 mil -
Taiwan Jones. What a waste of a roster spot he was. The last time he touched the ball in a meaningful moment he fumbled a kickoff against the steelers. Luckily Josh bailed us out with a 98 yard TD. I even called it before the ball he would mess it up Coach: Bobby April. He had this huge emphasis on needing his guys for STs and it left us with virtually no depth. I remember Poz broke his arm and would be out 4-5 games, but they had to IR him to sign someone who could actually play defense. It was week 3!

Is it better or worse than anyone else available is the question you should be asking. Von is on the roster on a reworked contract. That isn’t changing Hughes was let go after a 2 sack season. Before that he had two consecutive 4.5 sack seasons. So over his last 3 years in Buffalo he had 11 sacks total. Yeah, he had 9 his first year with Houston, but he 1 sack in his last 8 games that year. So for the past 25 games he has had 4 sacks. Sorry I’m not rushing to sign him with that production -

He had 3 sacks last year and will be 36 when the season starts. -
Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start
Captain Hindsight replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
My only complaint with how JP was handled was they didnt let him play though his rough patches. He started 16 games, played pretty well. Started the next season and got hurt and never really got another chance despite Trentative not exactly lighting it up -

McManus Accused of sexual assault

Was at a concert with my now wife. Dude walked up behind her, grabbed butt and the touched her boob and winked at her and walked away. She started balling instantly and I was ready to destroy the guy but she wouldn’t let me. It’s not a joke and I’ll never forget the look on my wife’s face when it happened -
He does suck

I think he was jumping over cars in the parking lot -
It probably has more to do with just rebranding. I'm 35 and boomer and Simms have been on CBS as long as I can remember. Same with Jimmy Johnson and Terry Bradshaw on Fox. At some point, they have to change things

The Bears should have moved on from Eberflus. That team is loaded and they are banking on a guy with a 10-24 record. Bears have this weird history of drafting a QB then firing the coach a year later. Did with Fox/Trubisky, then Nagy and Fields. Probably not the best way to develop a guy -

Or even a Preseason game. Personally, I want my rookie QB letting it rip in camp. Can he make this throw? what about this one? What happens if I make this read? Mistakes are a good things. It why I'm really high on a guy like Richardson or Levis because they don't always have clean tape, but they let it rip. Bryce Young on the other hand, holds the ball like hes scared to make a mistake. If that doesnt change, hes got no chance -
Anybody been to a game in Miami? Worth going?
Captain Hindsight replied to DCofNC's topic in The Stadium Wall
A guy in my tailgate group goes every year and loves it. He said he met Josh’s parents last year and they were really cool -
Can’t wait for some hacker to figure out how to mess with the ball

Give it time

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Plus it would be hilarious if the genius down in Miami couldnt get anything out of him

I told my brother before the draft, I wanted them to take the guard with the biggest ass and mean streak and plug him in week one Torrance has that ass
-
Ok, then he got spanked a week later. Maybe 2 signature wins in 4 years? The only other game I can think of is the opener vs the ravens two years ago when Baltimore just decided not to cover anyone for the 4th quarter

The only pass I give Herbert is that his coaching has been horrendous his entire time in the league. His talent is close to JA17 in some respects and he has made some insane throws in his career, but it hasn’t translated into much team success

At least Burrow has one some big games. I can’t think of a signature win for Tua. Same for Justin Herbert
