  1. Trade him while he's hot!
  2. This^ At the Baltimore game I saw just the raw talent EJ has. You either have it or you don't. EJ is built like an elite athlete, Thad just isn't.
  3. With all due respect to the Thad supporters here, there is no controversy. Thad is gritty, tough and has made some nice plays. He has also looked like a QB that just came off the PS. He is Fitz with a better arm. Once teams get more than 3 games of footage on him he will be easier to defend. I have little faith in a Thad Lewis led team for 16 games. He is limited, went undrafted for a reason and was backing up KELLEN MOORE in Detroit two months ago. His ceiling may already have been reached. EJ has immense talent albeit he is a bit raw. But if you haven't recognized his talent, leadership and pure ability, you are clearly missing something
  4. Our wins have been predicated on forcing turnovers. That's fine as they seem to be consistent doing it. Once the offense gets up to full strength I don't think it will be needed. As others have said, our defense is actually pretty good this year as opposed to in 2011 we had a few crazy games and at time were getting absolutely blown out before the team woke up
  5. Ryan has an unreal defense. Those guys are stacked on that side of the ball. I'm still not sold on the chiefs as the only team worth a damn they have beaten is the cowboys but none the less the job Reid has done has been impressive My vote goes to Chuck Pagano. That team really could have slid after last season but they are really solid all around and a serious force to be reckoned with. Honorable Mention to Marrone. To have this team prepared to play each week when it was difficulty to field a healthy 46 has left me impressed with the coaching staff. A game out of 500 with the injuries weve had is impressive
  6. Not that game. This game http://espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=291011002
  7. Blah Blah Blah Ratings grabbing headline blah blah blah
  8. Yeah if it was 2009 when Cutler was traded
  9. Its usually at least a week When does flex scheduling start?
  10. That throw that preceeded the hit too was gutsy. He reminds me of Fitz with a better arm. Over 16 games he will suck, 3-4 he will be decent and give you a shot to win
  11. That 6-3 cleveland game was farrrrrr worse. Trust me I was there.
  12. I am much more confident about most games this year than in years past simply because I trust the coaching staff to have the team ready to play. We haven't laid an egg in any game yet
  13. He looks like hes having fun out there. Thats great to see now knowing all the troubles he had last year
  14. Dont worry I'm sure he will be better by his next primetime game... in 6 days
  15. He looked pretty bad. You can see how talented he is but most of his throws were way off. Lucky for NFL fans the Vikings will have another primetime game this week on Sunday night
  16. Last time Brees played against Pettine he was held to 190 yards passing and Pierre Thomas had 86 yards rushing. If we can hold them to that I feel we have a decent shot. http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=291004018 Thad will need to make some plays with his arm. He's capable, but I worry more film on him will make him easier to defend
  17. If Marrone gets this team to 9-7 he should win coach of the year. Missing the top 3 CBs and FS for 5 weeks. His starting QB for 2.5 (and counting) starting a PS QB and not having a LG for weeks, two banged up backs and we are a game below 500. I have been very impressed with the coaching staff and I would love to see what this team looks like fully healthy
  18. Lee Evans. I thought he was a good and well respected player in the league. When we traded him my friend asked me who he was
  19. You owe me ten bucks! Thats trademarked!
  20. Here's an idea, don't fight over a game like you know, children
  21. Nice to see Ej there
  22. But but but Ive heard of him!
  23. FWIW Brees played the Jets in 2009 and Pettine was the DC Drew Brees 32 20 190 5.94 0 0 36 0 0 78.9 http://www.footballdb.com/boxscore/2009100409
  24. I'm hoping EJ comes back healthy and having learned a lot from his time watching. If he can string together a few wins and Thad can pull out one or two more wins, then there is no reason to think we dont have a shot
