  1. It seems most teams had Bortles rated the best QB. He wouldn't have lasted long
  2. Fringe players cut in mid may are not the answer to any position
  3. I agree with the ST. That needs to improve. Position coach changes don't do enough for me. As for the play calling, we had 3 rookie QBs playing last year. This wasnt Kurt Warner out there. Hackett designed a 400 yard game plan with his 4th option at QB against the number ranked D. He knows what he's doing
  4. I'm not sure anything dooms this staff. Ownership may not be transferred until a year from now. This staff this get three years minimum. Honestly I think they will get more than that This is a playoff caliber roster. This staff is also much better than people want to give it credit for
  5. I don't know who you would want them to draft. Besides Bortles I'd be surprised if any one of them lasted more than 4 years
  6. The Bills have been looking for a franchise QB for 20 years and these other teams are just going let a few playoff caliber, super bowl winning QBs walk after this year? Not a chance More likely the list will look like this Jason Cambell Christian Ponder Mark Sanchez Blaine Gabbert Tyler Thigpen TJ Yates Trent Edwards A few washouts and a third stringer
  7. Rumor has it the Bills are shopping him a 7th rounder in 2018 just in case a deal can't be struck
  8. Well if you look back at the draft, all those statements are true. Only other player in the first round picked after Spiller I would want is D. Thomas
  9. Throwing mechanics are very difficult. Footwork can be fixed and that would have a greater impact on EJ if you ask me. Generally I felt good about his progressions. He had one or two terrible games but for the most part I thought his decision making was good. His footwork can be improved and I'm happy to see he's trying.
  10. Its sad really. Dude had it all, and just got set for life with a fancy new contract. I'll say this, I gained a tremendous amount of respect for the Patriots for cutting him as quickly as they did. 100% the right move.
  11. Nor should he be. Parker is one the most respected agents in the entire industry. By all indications the Bills met Byrd's demands, he just didn't want to play here. Peters was a different story, but the Bills got great value from that trade
  12. Why would you cut Mario? No logic there. He had 13 sacks last year. Mike Williams was just traded for, he's not going anywhere Looks like you are just throwing names up because those 5 players are all key starters and not going anywhere
  13. Hackett won me over when he orchestrated an offense to the tune of 400+ yards against the number one ranked defense with his 4th string QB Twice in 16 games our offense looked unprepared. 3 different QBs, all with less than ten starts to their name. In any other year, with another coaching staff that would have been a 6-9 loss to the Browns
  14. If Watkins turns into Aj Green or Larry Fitzgerald, than using two number ones on him is pretty much a moot point IMO. The Bills needed an elite playmaker and they got one. I don't love the idea of trading future picks but I love the idea of having an elite talent more.
  15. Byrant is 6-4 300 Mario 6-6 292 So a few cheeseburgers away but basically the same size
  16. Playoffs.
  17. Because the Bills fooled everyone and Geno was supposed to have 6 Mvps by now
  18. Its clear this organization doesn't know the first thing about winning
  19. Played a bit of both IIRC. He is the same size as Mario
  20. A guy that was playing well at the end of last year Was Corbin Byrant. Keep an eye on him
  21. I wouldn't hate it but Graham is better safety prospect now that Leonard will be.
  22. Depth move and I love it. Great Job
