  1. Sure he had input. I don't see how that is relevant to what happened yesterday
  2. He was mad about the practices, not at Marrone. That decision was more likely Whaley than Marrone anyway
  3. This is all about creating accountability and respect. Its been Marrones mantra since he got here. LIke I said earlier i loved the move today and I hope they show up Saturday and bust some heads. This team is close and for the first time in 15 years we have the talent to win consistently. Someone needs to change the attitude and culture of losing and beating ourselves. Will his tirade change the way the team responds to adversity? I have no idea, but I'm glad he said "get your **** together" instead of "its hard to win in the NFL." Change the attitude. Change the thinking.
  4. Jimmy Haslam was trying to call Marrone to congratulate him as new HC of the Browns. Marrone is well regarded in this league. Look no further than the staff he has assembled. People want to work for him. That says a lot
  5. I have no problem with happened today. In fact, I loved it. About time we had some attitude in WNY You want to unite a team? Sometimes you need to create a common enemy. Maybe Marrone is doing that
  6. you and I live close lol i live off Garnsey!
  7. Everyone in the NFL now knows they can get in his head. No chance this kid starts week one. It would be an unmitigated disaster *grabs popcorn*
  8. Watch any Bill Belicheat presser and come back. See how you feel about that answer then.
  9. You should rewatch some games
  10. Look no further than last year with the Packers. Rodgers goes down and this playoff team goes from Rodgers to Seneca Wallace to Scott Tolzien in 6 days. They proceed to finish 8-7-1 after starting 5-2. That is with a super bowl winning coach.
  11. When I hear a troll under a bridge
  12. Ah yes but the difference between Warner and Tebow is Warner can complete a pass
  13. This is about right Meanwhile some kid named EJ would be on the bench and wed be screaming to give the kid a shot! I actually think quite the opposite. They put a lot of trust in him to run a hurry up offense. Very few protection errors and no delay of games I can remember. EJ is by all accounts a sponge. If the kid keeps asking, you keep teaching
  14. Money wasnt the issue with Byrd. He wanted to play for NO. He said so in an interview before he was a FA. I think it was on ESPN right after the tag dadline To your point, the dead money hasnt kept us from signing anyone, not sure how it has hindered us
  15. I give him a higher percentage that 20% but I am concerned. His mechanics look better this year and he is still young. I expect him to improve as the year goes. But I must say that no tds in 3 games worries me. Manual has the tools, just got to out it together
  16. all three
  17. The. Baggage argument is rediculous. These guys are in the business of winning. If they think a player could help them win they will take a chance on him. The league is full of examples of this Ray rice, Vick, roethlisburger, TO, anyone with a criminal record. No GM thinks Tebow is good enough. That's why he is a broadcaster
  18. Doesnt every team face the same opponent the 4th preseason game?
  19. I've never had any issue of talking about it. The hard part is putting it into words that someone can relate to. Its something that is very misunderstood. But talking about and reminding myself how far I've come is good therapy (at least for me). I remember one episode lasting a few weeks. Imagine wearing really dim sunglasses for a few weeks that without warning will suddenly disappear and you will be blinded by light and get a migraine headache instantly. Meanwhile the air around you is super hot and humid then switching to bitter cold so your sweating and shivering. On top of all that you just feel heavy. Now I wear 170 soaking wet, but i would feel like I weighed over 300 pounds. I struggled putting one foot in front of the other some days. It felt like someone was just pushing down on your shoulders for 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I had no appetite, I didnt want to do anything. Whenever I walked somewhere I felt like I had everyones eyes watching me and I could hear them talking about me, judging me. The worst part was when I was sleeping, because it was impossible. I would lay down and be physically and mentally exhausted at this point and I would just hear a distant roar that just got louder and louder and louder until finally I would get up to see what it was and the room would be silent. So I would lay down again and the same thing would happen. I barely slept that whole month. Truly awful disease. I went on meds and was in counseling for two years. I switched colleges because halfway through all this because my first college had such a toxic feel to me, I couldnt stay there. The best thing I ever did was decide I was going to be a better man because of it. So many people overcome adversity in life, why couldnt I be one of them? From that day forward I try to do at least one thing a day to move me past that. Some days its really hard, but the further away I get from those days, the better I feel. Been off meds for almost 4 years and I have had only one anxiety episode in the last year.
  20. We are thinking of cancelling cable entirely. We have time warner currently and can usually get the Bills game of either CBS or Fox and we never watch anything else. I was pretty pissed with them this morning as both internet and TV were out. So I called and spoke with someone. He told me that the neighborhood around me was showing an outage but since no one had called on Friday morning (shocker), they cant send a unit out unless more people call. So instead of hanging at home tonight I'll be at my office at school doing work and watching preseason football illegally
  21. Game rewind has some of the super bowls if you feel like getting kicked in the nuts again
  22. We have no idea what happens in the huddle or behind closed doors.
