Tannehill baffles me. He's good, belongs in the league and is a top 15 QB but then he turns in a stinker every once in a while. He is also winless in starts against the Bills. I don't see him being a great QB. An Ok one. He will start for 8-10 years but in a few years people will be talking about how the fins are limited by Tallwacker and how he can't win a playoff game. I've seen him wilt under pressure the past few years. Last year for example. He had to beat either the 8-8 Jets or the 6-10 Bills to be a playoff team. The Bills playing with a backup QB and nothing to play for dominated him. He had less that 100 yards passing IIRC. 57 sacks against him last year isn't just on the o-line http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZourGM6KRo He also fumbles in bad spots. I just don't think he's much of a gamer when it matters I'd be willing to bet if the Bills drafted him a few years ago we would be clamoring for a new QB next year. I'm always unimpressed by him.

I don't think he's coddled EJ. We haven't had many glowing reports from Doug about him. EJ is clearly the best guy in camp and that's apparent. But even the other day he said he needs to play better

I will never defend Rice's actions that night. Despicable. That video is awful, simply awful. But once and done? I feel like our society has grown to a point that we can attempt to educate rather than simply burn a man at the stake. JMO

He was cut from the Giants this offseason after he couldn't call a play in the huddle in OTAs. He didn't study, showed up late and basically showed he didn't give a **** anymore. Not really a giant mystery what happened to him

Although I agree that domestic violence is wrong and should be severely punished, I am not a fan of once and done with regard to anything really. Everyone makes mistakes in their lives. 6 games is a harsh punishment and sends a message right away. Plus you have to consider the possibility the victim made the story up. Look no further than Brian Banks. Additionally, Ray Rice has really seemed to try and turn his life around. He has a lot to lose and seems committed on getting better. I have respect for a man that can look in the mirror and say "I need help".

Haha yes I wish. I was hoping to get a big boy job before school started back up since I only have a few classes to go but I didn't get the job. I haven't collected a paycheck since January so its really hard to justify spending 100 bucks to go. But I will take donations

I fully agree with this, but I don't think it is the Bills intention to not push EJ. EJ is by all accounts an incredibly hard worker. They hired two more offensive coaches because EJ was asking so many questions. He doesn't need anyone to push him, he pushes himself. With regard to the backup position, Thad played well last year. Especially considering he barely knew the playbook, the coaches or even his own teammates. The FO and coaching staff had to believe he would get better. Honestly what other choices did they have? Vick wanted to play for MM in NY as his old OC. McCown was going with Lovie. Shaun Hill maybe The problem is a lack of decent options in this league. With respect to the draft, after going all in on Sammy, the rest of the draft needed to address OL, LB and other areas and build around EJ. They bet big they would be a playoff team, the backup QB position seemed to be ok after having three guys start a game last year. Thad let them down big time

Ponder would be best but I think the Vikes would be smart to hold onto him. I like Chase Daniel but he has a decent contract and doubt he is cut. Matt Scott and Trent have already been cut

I am actually a little surprised. He was a third round pick not long ago and has shown flashes of being a decent player. I'm surprised someone hasn't offered a conditional 7th that could turn out to be nothing.

I noticed a few days ago I was at 9,999 posts so I decided to wait and really think about what I wanted to say on this momentous occasion. Seeing as how the main board is a cluster!@#$ of negativity at the moment, i've decided to post on OTW today. TBD is a great outlet for a person like me. I love coming here and discussing football, life and funny stories. Even the Peter Pan joke, which i got caught the other day, is great. I love this community and I go here every morning and evening and spend wayyyy too much time on here during the day trying to get my fix. I have learned a ton about football, the NFL and life from posters here. Many on this board have helped me get through personal problems and grow as an individual and I am forever grateful to them. (You know who you are) I want to thank everyone for being here and making this a great place to escape the world sometimes and just talk about football. Although I've gotten into some heated arguments here about everything ranging from whether or not the Hamdan Fan Club made the board crash to if the Bills method of winning was sustainable to serious issues like depression, anxiety and UFO's on the ocean floor, I love it here and I love Bills fans. Now back to the regularly scheduled programming of hot for teacher and EJ bashing. Go Bills -Captain Hindsight

I dont think the community needed Bon Jovi to come together. The simple fact the team sells out more games than not in the middle of a 14 year playoff drought tells me all I need to know about this Community and their love of the Bills
