    Marrone is treading some dangerous waters if you ask me. This has Mularkey and Holcomb written all over it. To give up on a high investment this early rarely works out for the club/coach/player. This is a desperate move by a desperate coach and if it doesn't work, heads will roll.

    Exactly. They keep asking for public money for stadiums too and think they can still get away with this? Good luck The minute I am charged to watch an NFL game in my home is the day I stop watching. The NFL Knows that and thus will continue showing it on your local networks

    Shame that there is no way thats happening I just don't feel good about this move. We are going to win a few more games but if we don't make the playoffs its all for naught. I really don't see much of an upside here. I see an 8-8 team now with a 500 QB taking over

    Coming off ACL and back surgery. Pats* got greedy thinking Brady can do it all.

    What I can't understand is how Gruden is talking up the Pats* D like they've been lights out. They beat the Vikings sans Peterson and the Raiders. The Raiders will be lucky to win a game this year. Pats* have no stars in their prime. Chandle Jones/ Revis maybe but no one is scared of that D anymore. Much less the lack of firepower on offense

    This^ We didn't trade for Peyton Manning, we put in Orton. 5 teams in 10 years and a 500 record. I'm not sure excitement is the right word to be using

    Amazing the Pats* gave their future hall of famer this supporting cast near the end of his career. They have one or two more shots as at a title and give him Lafell and Edelman and an awful offensive line. The FOnin NE should be embarrassed

    Just like Mularkey did I understand it and I think its the right move but its a bad sign for EJ, Marrone and the whole coaching staff. This better work We could always use another guy on IR

    Redshirt EJ until we are out of playoff contention. Open competition next year and see what happens

    The only issue I have with this move is Orton isn't going to save this franchise. We will win more games this year but we may have to start all over again at QB. I don't know about the rest of you but for me thats pretty deflating

    Sounds like speculation to me. Seeing as how we don't actually technically have a new owner yet how can he possibly say this? El Pegula hasn't even had a month to review the organizational structure much less give ultimatums

    I really hope this is the case. The report yesterday talking about him seeing a sports psychologist may have something to do with this. Either way I'm stunned they didn't wait another week or two
