When Smith let the ball go my first thought was "Gilmore must have gotten beat"

Really? They were in the AFC championship game two years ago. 3 playoff appearances in 5 years and the last two season Luck has been held together by duct tape. The colts roster might be the worst in the league and without Luck they pick top 5 more often than not. Imagine how good h'ed be with an offensive line

Hogan had a nice TD this week

Whaley was a fine evaluate of talent. But he didnt understand building a roster or the cap. It why cheap dependable contributors like Gilislee and Hogan are going to compete for a Super Bowl contender and we are scouring the waiver wire hoping for a gem. Sammy was/is immensely talented. Is he worth 2 first round picks? Absolutely not Is Dareus a great player? yeah when he wants to be, but his contract is absurd. Same thing with Clay. Solid player, best TE in years - way overpaid Whaley would be a tremendous college scout. I wouldnt want him anywhere near contract negotiations, or the final 53 -
Bills signing QB Keith Wenning

Peterman has completed 50% of his passes in the preseason. He has made some nice throws but he is nowhere ready to start an actual game. -

He is one of the reasons Whaley was fired. He didnt understand value whatsoever. Losing Gilislee was the last straw IMO -

Astro-Notes: 8/6/17 Practice

They hadn't practiced on that field for since Wednesday morning. Spare me that BS -
Astro-Notes: 8/6/17 Practice

You're missing my point. The Bills event staff herded 5000 people to a location that no practice was going to take place on. Gave tickets, charged money for food, bus trips, merchandise I get that practice is free and that it doesn't matter if they win. But as of today, Mcd is 0-0 and that was a bait and switch to fans of a team in the midst of a 17 year playoff drought. It was a BS move and you are not going to convince me otherwise. -

I do realize that. But they gave out tickets, bused people in, charged them for food/drink, had their staff argue with fans and then gave them a view of the grass growing. To kids and folks who cant afford to come to a game its pretty rough to do that to them. It would have been been better to just cancel the practice IMO rather than waste everyone's time. How do you think the sponsors of those VIP tents felt about their guests getting a view of the kickers playing catch? It was wrong to do that -
Astro-Notes: 8/6/17 Practice
Captain Hindsight replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. If he wins, I can find a way to look past this, but if not.... in 17 years of attending that TC, yesterday and the first night practice were the two worst times I've been treated as a fan at any Bills event by the staff. Its absurd that for a ticketed practice, that was the way to treat the fans. I'll still be there every Sunday, but they lost some of my respect yesterday -

It was pretty rough for them to do that. 5000 fans showed up and lined the street going into Fisher to get in. Most of us saw the kickers stretch the whole time. This was my experience Sunday. Waited in line, got through the metal detectors and got to the bleachers. Went back towards the tents to grab some free sunglasses for my mom because she forgot her's. Got into an argument with "Mark" one of the security guys for hire about the meaning of general admission. He told me that because I didnt give them my name when I left the bleachers, I could not go back up to my seat that 3 people were saving for me. (Mind you this is general admission practice) After arguing with him for 10 mins on his little power trip, he finally let me up. (My ticket rep will be hearing about this soon, as this is the second time this has happened this season) Watched kickers pretend to kick for an hour before finally leaving They weren't switching fields, they blatantly avoided the fans that sacrificed a Sunday to watch them at a ticket practice. And its not about me. Little kids, elderly folks come to these because they cant go to games go to these practices. It was rude and disrespectful to a city that has 1/3 of the season ticket holders. The note about the field being torn up, its BS because they practiced on that little field on Thursday too. So they haven't practiced on the main field since Wednesday? Spare me that BS Bills PR. Sean better win, because he pissed off 5000 fans yesterday before his first preseason game Yes From some friends that work for Pegula Sports "He has a ton of power"
