That's what I'm afraid that people auto assumed Wentz would lead to losses. Wentz might be the best backup QB in the entire league and Reid has enough time to maximize his talent.
Have you seen Wentz play lately? He got Frank Reich fired the first time and then Ton Rivera. I’m sure he look better with Reid, but the WRs he’s playing with are arguably the worst of his career. Mahomes has not played well this year and he is a huge upgrade over Wentz

I pile on McDermott quite a bit for his in game decisions, but I will say that creating a culture in which guys just want to win and do what it takes is actually pretty amazing. The receiver room guys have stepped up when their number was called.
Look at what happened in SF when Greenlaw came back and Campbell threw a fit. Milano came back and Williams got demoted and just kept on grinding.
That's a testament to coach and the culture he created. Diggs was a culture killer. What you are seeing here, as many have said, is addition by subtraction. Credit goes to McDermott and Beane for making those moves, drafting and bringing in culture guys. We may be on the precipice of something special.
It reminds me of NE. It can be cold sometimes, but ***** they always had guys that could make plays

Did you miss Josh's rookie year? Hollins, our current #4, would have been the best WR on that team.
How dare you slander the great and fat Kelvin Benjamin!

If we are locked into the 2 seed I would support a tank week 17-18 not for rest purposes but to keep the greatest players out of the division. The pats are currently drafting 3rd where Hunter will be if QBs go 1 and 2 as expected.
Thats some 4D chess

I agree...everyone plays week 16/17 at home but I'm resting most everyone in NE. That will be our playoff bye.
Trubisky is going to go off and start a controversy on the board

Watt went out with an ankle yesterday, I didn't see if it was longer term or not. Pit does have some decent pass rush behind him though.
What happened to Mahomes is a reminder to make sure your oline room is as deep and talented as possible.
Also a reminder to not jump in the air like an idiot when throwing a pass

I thought it was the right call. I love Cambells aggressiveness. I think it suits a town like Detroit and the team in general.
If they had recovered that kick, he would have been lauded a genius

I always go to bed in a Bills shirt. Last week I forgot and we lost, this week I remembered and we won
Sorry about last week everyone

When the Bills had a player quit in the middle of the game, they went to Minnesota and destroyed the Vikings
The 49ers opponent this week is Miami

I think this is actually worse than Vonte Davis.
At least Vonte played the first half before realizing he just didn't have it anymore. Might not have been the right way to go about it, but you could at least conceive of the reaction.
This dude's just like "Who, me? Nah... Nah, I'll pass."
Still not great. Like he could have sat on the sideline and played in a pinch. IIRC one of our other corners got hurt later. They lost by 30 something that game, its not like Davis was holding us back.
But refusing to play period? thats unforgiveable

Bills are better than that team. Allen is better than Mahomes.
I want them in the championship.
I'd rather play the Giants. I feel like we could really limit Drew Lock

He was always kind of an ass but there were times he was a very good WR in the league. I'm not all surprised he was a late season cut on a team that still has playoff hopes

I tend to agree with this but does that mean Brandon Beane has accumulated such mediocre talent that the Bills would only be good for 5-6 wins?
Take a look at the teams without Franchise QBs or developing ones
Giants, Browns, Saints, Jets, Raiders. All those teams are going to win anywhere from 3-7 games in a given year. Bills fans should know better than most the difference a franchise QB makes

When is the last time McD benched a vet starter for poor performance in game? Honest question…
Josh Allen has been benched multiple times this season

Sounds like this is a done deal. He must have seen he wasn't getting an NFL gig

If the Bills have the #2 seed locked up going into the finale against the Pats, then the Bills will probably rest starters and treat it like a preseason game. In this scenario I could see the Pats beating the Bills.
And the Pats* fans will talk all off season how they split with the Bills

If he loses out to Goff I’ll be so mad haha but what you’ve outlined definitely makes sense. Barkley would not make me as mad 😂
if mvp was actually what it was supposed to be I don’t see how Goff could even be in consideration.. I think you could plug any pretty good veteran in his spot and they’d do the same thing
Yes and no. Goff is a top 10 QB in this league. I think most top 10 QBs would be having the season he is in Detroit. Their team is incredible, but that should not take away from the fact that one big reason they are playing so well is because Jared Goff is playing very well.

Bills are gonna play there on a short week

I thought this last game and earlier in the year. It's coming, for sure, in a big game. I hope he catches it!
Lions were going to throw a pass with their tackle. Lets hope they at least let Knox throw it (HS QB)

Are the Patriots still the NFL team you dislike the most?

The Pats* are irrelevant. The hated coach is at UNC of all places and the QB is talking about how great our QB looks in shorts.
I've barely thought about the Pats* all year and I consider myself to be a football junkie
