  1. Hes trying to turn them into the Patriots/Panthers So much emphasis on team over talent. Getting rid of bloated contracts, under performing players and drafting talented, high football IQ, love football, type players. Playing sound defensive football with a varied offensive scheme. Having a smart/ athletic QB who loves football and makes plays with his arm and legs. Not all the pieces are in place yet and I wouldn't expect them to be yet. But the blueprint is there. Allen = Cam Edmunds = Keuchly Hyde = McCourty White = Gilmore/Josh Norman This year sucks. I hate getting blown out and I think they really screwed the pooch on lots of positions (see backup QB, WR). Hopefully it pans out because those are two teams that have a higher than average level of success.
  2. Peterman forgets to show up so we have Logan Thomas enter the game instead after Anderson retires at halftime
  3. On the play Allen got hurt he did exactly nothing wrong. I don't worry about Allen's ability to stay healthy. This was such a fluke injury
  4. Like who? Tyrod? Dareus? Watkins? Darby has been decent, but I dont think they miss him
  5. I couldn't believe I was able to sell these tickets. Its going to be awful
  6. Tyrod problem has always been his unwillingness to throw the ball. When he got hurt and Baker come in and threw some pass to Landry that was over the defender in a tight window, I knew TT was done in Cleveland. Its not that he cant make throws. Its that he won't. Schemes he has played in have been fine. Receivers have been fine. He needs to throw the damn ball and trust his arm. Josh Allen has a similar problem right now, which has me worried.
  7. When I saw he was going to purchase Wembley stadium I was pretty sure that was going to happen. The logistics on this are a nightmare though. It will be interesting to watch this play out
  8. I liked Orchard. Glad to see him land somewhere
  9. I think I'd prefer that vs NP playing ever again
  10. Buy a better antenna is also an option
  11. Hard to argue with Dilfer. I think Josh can handle the adversity being thrown at him, but it would be nice for him to have Bridgewater or AJM or a Fitzpatrick type in the room with him to help him. I think he can handle it, but they aren't doing him any favors right now I will only worry if improvement isn't being shown consistently by the bye week. Like others have mentioned, Josh has had to work his butt off just to get a scholarship. If anyone can handle adversity its him.
  12. I like the white helmets. One of my favorite uni combos this week. So at least they will look good
  13. Just reading this thread is making me feel pain. Ouch everyone. My goodness. Wrap yourself in bubble wrap tonight
  14. Eh Lawson hasn't been great but hes pretty solid against the run. Not much of a pass rusher however
  15. Got a concussion in middle school that was rough for a few days. Just felt so weak and woozy for days. Not fun Edit: Thought of one more. I had an ulcer on my left cornea. Was a result of wearing contacts. Everyone has bacteria in their eyes to fight foreign objects (contacts being one of them) and mine over attacked them and ended up attacking my cornea. One morning I woke and couldnt open my eye it was so crusted over. After washing it for 20 mins was finally able to open it to excruciating pain. Went to the eye doctor and had to wear special sunglasses while they figured out what to do. They flushed it out and took some pictures and saw all the scaring. The doctor said I could never wear contacts again or risk going blind. I was 20 at the time so that freaked me out. Tore my PCL while backpedaling in HS football. Tried to play on it and tore my MCL in the same knee Tore same MCL hiking, sprained the the other one walking down the hill to go to the doctor. Having two injured MCLs is a bad time Tore my tricep doing something stupid while drinking. I was so drunk that I didnt feel any pain, but knew immediately it was torn. Lifting my arm above my head was so painful. I was working for the NPS at the time, so I had to haul heavy bags all over the place. Was a rough few weeks Broke my pinky toe a few years ago playing volleyball. I, of course, didnt have insurance at the time. Called my buddy who is a doctor and his exact quote "Thats gonna suck for a few weeks" He was right, mostly annoying but difficult to walk and sleep
  16. Well that was the scouting report Rosen has the highest floor. Allen has the highest ceiling. If all goes to plan, Allen will be the best in 3 years.
  17. I loved it. Be aggressive and try to win More teams should do it
  18. We played murderers row to start the year. Minnesota was fun, but it looks like an aberration more than anything What I like: The defense plays hard and fast. No quit on that unit (sans Vontae). They dropped two INTs yesterday that could have made it a different game. I think that unit is close to being a good unit. They have some things to clean up, but mostly have just been on the field too much. Offense has to help them out. Punter and kicker seem pretty set. The new left footed guy seems to have a powerful leg. Considering we stole him from Pats* makes me like him even more Uniforms are still the best in the league Josh Allen has flashed some serious potential. I like his fire and I definitely see plenty to like about him. He's erratic right now and I think he is trying to do to much. When he plays within the system( see vs Vikings) he looks like a top QB. When he tries to score 22 points on one play, he throws a terrible INT right at halftime. IF he figures out how to be consistent and play within the scheme on every down, we may have something special. If he tries to do too much, well back to the drawing board I guess What I dont like: Offensive line. - What a train wreck this has been. I'd fire the o-line coach. His message just doesn't seem to be working. far too many free rushers Wrs - Holmes dropped a perfect pass from Allen yesterday on the sideline. Why is he running 60% of the routes? Holmes is a replacement level WR. Its unbelievable to me that they are trying to develop a rookie QB when his most reliable target is Jason Croom. Its criminal and they should be turning over every rock to find someone, anyone to play WR. They could cut them all, start from scratch and it might be an improvement
  19. Nate Peterman has a 10% INT rate. Drops dont sound so bad now do they?
