The Brownies are in trouble...
Captain Hindsight replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone paying attention this offseason could have told you they were going to struggle. No Oline to speak of and a rookie HC? I thought playoffs were possible with all that talent, but i thought people betting them to win the SB was laughably optimistic -
Fitzpatrick benched for Rosen

Sorry wasn't implying you thought it was a smart move. Just expressing my opinion on how stupid tanking in the NFL is. I am quite sure they will screw this up -

Anyone that proposes something like this has no football brain. The Bills, when they "tanked" traded a starting corner and starting WR for 2 draft picks and a starting corner and WR. Build for now and the future. Its why players would still buy into the process McBeane is installing here. Flores has no chance to win back over this team and he will have nothing but an 0-16 HC record to show for it -

Is it too late to bet on the Cowboys? -
Daniel Jones - new starting QB for the Giants
Captain Hindsight replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is he a hall of famer? He has pretty good numbers but he is a 500 starter and his teams have been pretty lousy the last few years I think hes in the hall of good, not fame -

Adam Vinatieri might be retiring
Captain Hindsight replied to BillsFan4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Generally, I'm not either. But If Vinitari was some rookie kicker he would be cut today. He wont be cut because of who he is. Him walking away (if he chooses to do so) has more to do with doing whats best for the team than himself. He absolutly could just stick around and get paid. If he chooses to retire, he will be making a very unselfish decision IMO -

Joe B. & Evan (Jets Radio) on GMFB
Captain Hindsight replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is still surprising to me that sooooooo many people were talking up the Jets all offseason and now they are the worst team in sports. Alot of that chatter was prior to Darnold getting sick at make out point too. Haven't heard anyone say the Bills might be a good team yet... except Kay Adams ? -
If you have Amazon prime, I suggest watching the all or nothing about the panthers last. Made me see Newton in a different light

AB will not be on exempt list per shefty
Captain Hindsight replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFL really did the Pats* some favors with the WR corps this offseason. They were laughably bad for a few weeks there. The like magic! Josh Gordon is no longer suspended despite his 4th indefinite suspension being applied last year and Antonio Brown just falls into their laps. How the NFL approved that contract that was reported within about 3 hours of his release is a joke to me -
But they aren't doing what the Bills did. This is pure fire sale. This is more like the browns model The Bills traded Watkins and Darby, but got back picks and a starting WR and CB. They got value a viable replacement. I think that allowed players to buy in more to the "process" It wasn't a tank. It was a rebuild for furture and present. Beane and McDermott played it beautifully if you ask me. Even if Allen doesnt work out, their plan and execution has been overall excellent

Rookies you wanted to draft update...
Captain Hindsight replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wanted to draft Josh Allen two years in a row. He looks like an absolute stud Oliver was my second choice -
Josh Allen is a winning quarterback
Captain Hindsight replied to The Bills Blog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen has arguably the best arm talent in the NFL except Mahommes and I'd say they are about equal in terms of what they CAN do. I want my QB to be aggressive and throw it in those tight windows. You win in this league by being aggressive. The Bills didnt have an aggressive QB for 17 years and they made the playoffs once in that time frame. Josh Allen will get us there multiple times with his aggressiveness -

And if Cole Beasley catches one that hit in the hands, The Bills win 17-6
