  1. Blah blah blah more excuses for the Chosen one. Want to know what Rosen's real problem is? It has absolutely nothing to do with his circumstances. Its that he isn't willing to take a risk. Take a look at his passing chart from last week when he completed 15 passes for 85 yards against an 0-5 team that just fired their HC. https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/charts/list/pass/team/season/week/josh-rosen/ROS357433/2018/5/pass Throw the ball down the field Josh. Until he learns to do that, he will continue to be a terrible starter. He is Trent Edwards with a better arm. We know how that story ends Every QB gets a pass rusher in their face. Every QB has to fit a ball into a tight window. Every QB faces adversity. Some can handle it, some can't. Rosen continues to show he can't. If Rosen ever starts 16 games in a season, I will be shocked As to your point about Bridgewater, he was a playoff QB before his knee exploded. He just needed to get healthy. That is not a good example. I expect Rosen to have a career more like Blaine Gabbert (if he is lucky)
  2. Not picking on you in particular, but I hate this argument The Bills are a good team with Allen. The Jets are a good team with Darnold. The Packers are a good team with Rodgers. Sometimes those players can elevate the players around him and some guys just cant. Rosen may be a good QB, but apparently he needs the perfect scenario to be "good". That makes him a backup at best. JA hardly walked into an ideal situation here. Two starting pro bowl offensive lineman were lost. His number 1 and 2 WRS are out of the league and recently traded for a 5th rounder two years from now. His RB was on the decline and had his worst season in his career. Despite all of that, Allen found a way to make some plays and win 4 of his last 6 starts and averaged 286 total yards and ~2 TDs a game Baker Mayfield came to a team that had averaged HALF A WIN the previous two years. His HC and OC were fired mid season and he finished with 3700 yards passing and 27TDs Darnold. Horrible O line, lame duck HC no running game. 2800 yards and 17Tds Rosen had David Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk and a bad oline. Id argue not much worse than Buffalo's 2300 yards and 11Tds. His last 6 games he accounted for 2 Tds and averaged 158 total yards per game in his final 6 games. He failed to elevate those around him and the fact the Cards had to wait until draft night to declare they were moving on was a joke. Rosen is bad. He hasnt been able to translate his college game to the pros. Its such a common tale but its not his fault ?
  3. We have Roberts and McKenzie. Neither player has played their way off the roster, why bother picking up Ray Ray? If we need a PR, Hyde is next up. I bet Singletary can return kicks. There just isn't room. Bills have a luxury to say that for the first time in a long time
  4. I mean, do they really need to "prepare" Fitz eventually throws it to the guys in red. Rosen eventually poops his pants
  5. The AFC sets up well for the Bills this year. I dont see a game on the docket that they can't win. Philly should be a challenge Browns on the road could be a tough game Dallas if they decide to show up Baltimore will be tough, but winnable especially at home Could week 16 be for the division? Honestly it wouldn't shock me. If Josh learns how to take care of the football better, this team could be very very good
  6. I'll watch the NBC pregame before the night game just to see some highlights but I'm not really listening to the "analysis" Havent turned on a pregame to watch in years.
  7. And the Bills want to trade for Bill Belicheck, doesnt mean its going to happen
  8. Doing some housework and probably taking my dog for a walk Hopefully see the Jets implode even further. The redskins and Dolphins tying would be hilarious
  9. Mularkey got 2 more jobs after this one. I don't think the Steelers dislike Tomlin that much
  10. I was told late on a Thursday the industry probably wasn't right for me and it wasn't working here and to come back Monday and tell them why they should keep me. I told them I quit I had felt for a long time that I needed to get out of there, so it wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it still sucked Ended up getting a job in the same industry and wrote 2 new programs for company that accounts for 80% of our revenue. So uh yeah my old boss can suck it.
  11. That was the most fluky set of wins ever. Really fun to watch, but once teams stopped gifting us turnovers, it was over
  12. My takeaway is Jones started pouting because he was being replaced. He couldnt fit into his new role and when he did get opportunities, he failed. Bills did him a solid honestly by trading him to someone who wanted him rather than cutting him outright
  13. Florio keeps trying to make Tomlin to Washington a thing and there is absolutly no way that happens. IF Pittsburgh decides to move on (highly unlikely) Tomlin will be in high demand and Washington will not be a strong consideration from Mr Tomlin
  14. I mean, theres 32 of these jobs in the world. Someone will take it. But if I had an opportunity to stay in a stable situation like here in Buffalo or go work for Snyder, I think I'll stay
  15. 3 of my childhood friends were in my wedding. I still keep in touch with them, dont see them as much as I'd like
  16. I work for a rebate program for a utility company. My company is going after other work but not in this state. I just bought a house and put a ton of work into, I'm not moving I have a few contacts I've reached out to just let them know I may be available soon and would like to keep in touch. I'm confident I can get a job, just a shock Monday since we all thought it was not an issue yet Thanks for the wise words everyone. It helps to know I'm not the first to go through this
  17. Yeah, I smell good. Soothing
  18. My wife uses the wool dryer balls and puts lavender oil on them to make everything smell good. Then puts a safety pin in a few on the dryer balls to help with the static
  19. Hes no John Skelton thats for sure
  20. If anyone offers you a second round pick for Matt Barkley you dont even let him pack a bag and throw him out the door And I like Barkley alot
  21. Oh I would too. Sorry that probably wasnt worded well. More so, he can be contained
  22. Mahomes looks human The Lions, Colts and 49ers are all much better than expected Teddy Bridgewater is one of the best stories in the NFL today The top ten of the draft will be full of teams who could have the number 1 overall pick most other years. Jets are throwing away Darnold's cheap years on Adam Gase. He is a horrible coach and a terrible leader and continues to prove it
  23. Browns were a sexy pick but anyone who looked at their o line knew they were going to struggle. That coaching staff is weak and they fell for names over substance. If they want to win, they need to do what the Bills did this year and load up on any offensive lineman that has started a game and work it out in camp
  24. I'm going to that game. Couldnt be more excited
