Should Buffalo Trade for Alshon Jeffrey
Captain Hindsight replied to Dkollidas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Signing Agholor would be like trading for Zay Jones, youre gonna have a bad time -
To your first point yes, it makes a huge difference. I remember a presser he had where said paying coaches who don't work for you is just part of the business. I'm actually quite sure Gase has a huge hand in this. Remember him posting fines on a video board? He likes to make examples of people for some strange reason and this is just his latest example Maybe Doug Marrone finally gets his dream job

Gronk on masked singer? Gotta be him

I watched 30 seconds of this after the SB and decided it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen -
Just because a product is more expensive elsewhere doesn't make it any less of a burden on me when I buy it here

If PSLs were required to get seasons in Buffalo, I would be out so quickly. Tickets are expensive enough and if had to pay another 5k for the right to pay another couple thousand dollars, I honestly wouldn't even consider it. With how many years I've had to eat hundreds of dollars on the secondary market when the team has been bad or the weather sucks, I can't think of a worse investment than PSLs

Player - Vontae Davis - Quitter Coach - Rex/Rob Ryan. What a disaster Honorable Mention - Bobby April. Fans loved him because we had the best ST in the league for a few years but a big reason for that was giving April soooooo much say in Personal. We had 7 exclusive STers each year, so when we had an injury for 3 weeks, we had to IR a starter to sign someone to play defense. It drove me nuts. I remember Poz had a minor injury and they had to IR him because the backup couldnt play defense. How hard is it to cover a kick? Give me a guy who can do both. I think Bobby April is a big reason the Bills missed the playoffs multiple years F that guy

Browns hiring Alex Van Pelt as OC
Captain Hindsight replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh I know, just surprised hed take on a role with a guy who has gotten 3 HCs and 3 OCs fired in 2 seasons. I think Baker is going to set a record -

I am a little surprised AVP would give up the opportunity to work with Joe Burrow or Tua as he was pretty much guaranteed to do in Cinci -
I mean, not really Since McBeane got here they have added these guys to the offense for better or worse Corey Coleman Jordan Mathews Kelvin Benjamin John Brown Cole Beasley Isiah McKenzie Tyler Kroft Dawson Knox Lee Smith Tommy Sweeney Devin Singletary Frank Gore Jon Feliciano Quniton Span Cody Ford Mitch Morse Ty Nesheke JOSH ALLEN They had nine new starters this year on offense. I think it was well addressed last offseason. You can debate the effectiveness, but not the focus IMO

PFF's QB Annual Report on Allen
Captain Hindsight replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have you seen this guy Duck Hodges? Hard to overcome a talent like that -
So Rosen does nothing well? He has potential. Cool. Its year 3 Baker Mayfield Joined a team that had ONE win in two years and Hue Jackson was the coach. His HC and OC were fired midseason Josh Allen had a terrible offensive line, no WRs of note and a failing running game Sam Darnold was playing for a lame duck coach and had no offensive line All three of those players were able to elevate those around them and make plays. With Rosen, apparently he needs everything to be perfect for him to have any chance. This may be a shock to you, but no situation in the NFL is perfect. People love to just assume its coaching or scheme as to why a guy isnt performing. He was a top ten pick. The most pro-ready QB. The best tape, the right coaching and perfect mechanics and he has shown NOTHING in two years. At some point, it has to be about Rosen not being good enough. It is such a common tale, I'm not sure why people can't accept it If the Bills brought Rosen here and said, "we are going to make him our QB" How would you feel? Me? I'd cancel my season tickets

This story affected me more than I thought it would. I am not an NBA fan. I typically only watch the finals, but Kobe was so much above just the sport itself. He was an Icon. I can still remember anytime someone took a shot in gym class in HS yelling "Kobe!" while shooting. He had just retired and by all accounts was just a good man, father and person. I can't help thinking of all the things that will not be accomplished because Kobe left us too soon. Learning more about him and his daughter and now the rest of the victims. This is just one of those stories that gets worse the more you read. Just awful RIP to all
