It's still early in the season but at the moment the "process is looking very successful; I really am not missing Watkins, Darby, Dareus, or even Gilmore! Wish them all the best but I love this team! Class and Character - the product of a great rebuild and yes - THE PROCESS!!!!

In simpler terms, find a way to win - offense, defense, special teams. 1990 - 1993 we put lots of points on the board and big time yardage passing but could not win the big one; no defense. Great post, I get what you are saying and agree. I still love watching a great, bruising defensive battle but in the twenty - first century that is boring to many. Hell, I still love pitchers duels! I love watching offense when its the Bills lighting up scoreboards but still want a dominant shut down defense!

Play throughout the NFL for week one still at pre - season caliber - but the games count now despite some sloppy games yesterday and last Thursday. Week four will provide a better picture of who the contenders and pretenders are, again unfortunate because they all count in the win loss column - the modern NFL!
