  1. This whole JK thing is a very sad commentary regarding Bills fans!!!
  2. I am very very saddened by some of these posts. Lots of anger out there - get well and stay in Buffalo JK. I dont think you are the second coming, I don't care what you do in your personal life as I have flaws like everybody else.
  3. Troy Aikman back in the 90's stated that going to four straight Super Bowls was great acheivment and would probably never be accomplished again, lauding the Bills for the accomplishment. I would love the chance to get mad about being out coached in a Super Bowl game again, have the world come to an end because we lost two games in a row in route to the playoff, or Monday morning QB a winning QB. Commencing in 1986 for 14 seasons, the Bills going into week 15 for twelve seasons.
  4. I dream of a stadium in downtown Buffalo on the water front with natural grass and a December game with playoff implications. The sky is gray, snow is falling and the field is muddy; football as it was intended to be played!
  5. What an era of football, thanks so much for posting.
  6. Awesome statement. The days when losing a game during a ten win season/playoffs brought depression until the next game.
  7. Ernie Warlick hosted a Bills show from 1966 - 1967 called Buffalo Bills Preview; great show that still out ranks many local Bills TV today. I guess I am showing my age, but Ernie was awesome, a great member of the Buffalo community. My condolences to his family.
  8. Like more information on Jim Kelly - Thurmon Thomas Corporation; does it even exist?
  9. I attended my first biils game in 1965 and watched the Bills lose to KC for the SB in 1966. If they do not clean house - Gailey, Nix, scouting, and the roster I'm through.
  10. This sums up the entire situation. Great Post from Stealth.
  11. This team will continue as is until there is a complete house cleaning of the organization - GM, scouting, and coaching. This at best is a below average NFL organization.
  12. In 1986 we signed Kelly, Kent Hull and made the deal to get Bennet in 87 along with some great drafts. We also made some great FA aquisitions along the way getting Leonard Smith and James Lofton. After missing the playoffs in 1994 we signed Bryce Paup, Ted Washington, and Jim Jeffcoat - hell we p[aid Jeffcoat 3 Million a year to play 3rd down and sack the QB and he did. Not sure how/why Butler left but it has been downhill ever sense although I think Malarkey/Donaho could have made something but the Drew Bledsoe deal killed the whole effort - you were going to lose with or without Bledsoe. This organization needs to be swept clean - ten years os mismanagement, poor drafts, poor coaching, poor FA signings have led to this collapse. You could see it coming, back when many were excited and thinking playoffs - I did not. This is a bad organization and bad team.
  13. No coaching staff, no front office, poor drafts, and horrible FA aquisitions over the last decade. Next year the re-building process will start again with new substandard coaching and front office. 6 - 10 for the 2012 season.
  14. Sure, I am living in the past - once the Bills do something in the present I will live that! No question the on side kick, Andre Reed and Tally once said it pumped everyone up.
  15. Ten years of poor drafts, poor FA signings, horrible coaching, and no front office will cause a total collapse in 2012; I have been consistent with this theme. This organization cannot compete in the AFC East let alone the playoffs. Sometime in November things will get interesting again as the talk turns to who will replace Nix/Gailey and company.
  16. Sorry, I know this is not going to sit well, but I see a 6 - 10 season. The current front office and coaching staff is not going to take this team to the playoffs, let alone the SB. Nor is Fitz the QB that is going the distance. We have no depth, as much as I love Freddy Jackson he is 32 and coming off an injury. CJ Spiller - for a first round pick still has shown nothing. Granted Wannstadt built a SB defense in Dallas and is definitely a bump up from Edwards, but I still see them giving up plays on third and long. Still waiting to see if Mario comes through, he does have detractors in NO. A decade of poor drafts and FA aquisitions is still keeping this team average at best.
  17. Totally accurate post; could not be more true. If you think this team is going to the playoffs in 2012, let's talk again in December. This post captures it all!
  18. I do remember it happening on Best Street.
  19. awesome, what a find. Thanks forb posting!!!
  20. 23 yard FG, typical fall, cloudy day with no wind. All in all, Booth was a great fit for the community, beat out by Mike Mercer in 67 who did not do much other than the first week win against the Jets.
  21. Ha ha I remember that and Billy Shaw being really POed at him for missing that FG.
  22. Kenny Davis if your reading this thanks! I am so happy for you too!
  23. The Rockpile is an era of Buffalo Sports history that is being forgotten. So much history - Bills, Bisons, concerts.
