  1. Exactly; no change from the last ten years!
  2. http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Week-6-Patriots-vs-Bills-highlights/fa038ee1-38a3-4fe8-ad86-403729646205
  3. Hear you on that my friend!
  4. I too think they played a great game and Roman's offense did very well. This board amazes me at times!
  5. Well stated, great response!
  6. Good post and very accurate. We may or may not make the playoffs this year but you cannot deny effort. I have more interest this year than in the last ten years!
  7. During the 1960's until they closed the old rock pile two season ticket holders owned a third seat - for a kg of beer. Quite well publicized back i the day and talked about, as yu would them bringing it into the stadium on game day. Let's not forget the famous end zone box seats, drunk, rowdy, and raucous!
  8. My thoughts exactly!
  9. My thoughts exactly. I remember he started on TV doing the thirty minute NFL today, reviewing the previous weeks highlights prior to the start of the NFL game on WBEN. Back in those days we were football starved and I love watching his show.
  10. Rick Azar was great also, he had a Saturday show called Buffalo Bills Highlights. Back in those days it was the most extensive film coverage of the Bills.
  11. Born and raised in the Buffalo area, left town in 1980 (24 years) and lived in the South since.
  12. Great post, I forgot about Its Academic. He also had "Let's Talk Sports" with Stan Barren and Dick Rifenberg arguing for a half hour. I will never forget when Jim Dunaway blocked a FG against the Jets in 1966, pretty important game played in cold and windy conditions at the Rockpile. Dunaway raced 78 yards giving the Bills a 14 - 3 win, you could hear Vans voice throughout my neighborhood.
  13. One of the last links to growing up in North Tonawanda, a bunch of kids huddled around a radio listening to Van call the Bills. RIP! Lots of great Bills memories! I would do anything to get his audio from the 1960's!
  14. I have heard horror stories about Larry Czonka and his arrogance to kids and parents; no first hand experience but from several reputable sources. Marv owned him for over a decade.
  15. Interesting; good post! Another great post, man, you remember Archie Matsos, I love it!
  16. Butch was a play maker and Booker was long regarded as one of the best cover corners in the league one on one.
