We win one game on the road against the Patriots - playing the third string quarterback and we have vanquished ten horrible years of drafting, poor coaching, and poor scouting? Sorry, I'm still not sold, talk to me in December?
If you realign - go big! Great Lakes Division: Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Green Bay - modern version of the old black and blue division. Northern, cold, and lots of snow - traditional football!
I really don't know at this point if they are meddling, but you are absolutely correct, the honeymoon is over. It is time to burn down this dysfunctional organization with a losing culture - scouting, GM, everyone and start over. Go out and find a football czar, not a retread but a younger model; look what the Cowboys did in 1989!
Got a valid point!
Sully, his lousy drafts, poor coaching, and lousy FO operations really have set the Bills back a few years! And this team has not been to the playoffs since 1999, come on Sully!
Try therapy!
The Buffalo Bills are a failed organization covering about a 15 year span:
- Horrible drafts, they have not picked a successful first round draft pick in years and even worse look who we passed on
- Horrible coaching
- Horrible front office
If I'm Mr. Pegula I am looking for a football czar and getting ready to throw a match to the whole organization starting over as soon as possible. A losing culture is like cancer, and this team has it.
What astonishes me is the continued sell outs and watching many on this board go crazy over anyone's honest criticism - media or fan. In four months the coaching cycle will start yet again.
Rex came in with a top five defense in 2014, let the Defensive Coordinator walk and attempted to rebuild the defense - "If it aint broke dont fix it." Insanity!
I'm sure he will have lots of free time available to work for social justice in the future; I'm sure he will use much of the millions he has earned over the years to assist the oppressed!
Then why has Los Angeles not had a team for so many years; I attended a game at the Coliseum back in 1985 and watched Eric Dickerson at his peak! Lousy attendance and less than enthusiastic crowd. There is a reason the Rams left in the first place and no moved into this "great market."
