I remember that game, since it at home the blackout was in effect but my neighbor had what was called a "rotary antenna" and picked up the game in North Tonawanda from Rochester channel 10 clear as heck. The Bills won and we loved it because we beat the system!

That was an awesome game; both teams lit up the scoreboard!

1966 Home opener versus the Chiefs and they got bomber 42 - 20; second game January 1st 1967 for the AFL Championship against the Chiefs; winner went to the first Super Bowl. Chiefs again trounced the Bills 31 - 7, I was 0 and 2 my first year. I was at this game; pretty ugly!

Exactly, each December you were the guy lamenting .500 teams then drinking the Kool Aid over the summer and thinking playoffs again by September; Bill Polian 1989 : "The Buffalo Bills hurt themselves over the last two decades hanging onto fan favorites rather than moving on." after letting Fred Smerlas sign with the 49ers amid fan outcry!

I have stated many times on this board that the 2017 Bills are not talented nor a legitimate playoff contender; regardless of Watkins, Darius, or Darby (glad they were unloaded). You cannot take a losing organization and the culture that comes with it after 17 years of horrible coaching and personnel management and turn it around over night, but I do have faith in the new regime. The big test is the 2018 draft, they blow it and it will get ugly. Great post Rigozt and much needed!

They just don't have the talent or the culture; this board will light up after the loss! If I am wrong I will happily admit it though, it would be one of the top five wins since 1960!

Excellent post! The 2017 Buffalo Bills are the result of 17 years of poor drafting, coaching, Front Office, and poor overall organizational culture; anyone expecting McDermott or Beane to overcome this in the first year is naive. There was no talent on this team going into 2017 - and Dareus, Watkins, or Darby would not have changed anything. The first test for the new regime is the 2018 draft, if it's bad then the heat will be legitimate and warranted!

TBD is really depressing me, what happened to the knowledgeable Bills Fans that use to post! Most of the posts over the last week have been incredibly naive and ignorant!
