  1. Good post, he was an exciting player to watch.
  2. If the protests continued in 2018, they would have lost significant revenue. Politics aside, only a really poor business man would alienate a significant portion of the customer base! Come on, just common sense, it's entertainment not a political talk show.
  3. Don't watch and don't let the door hit you in the butt!
  4. He fought a five year battle with the front office trying to get raises for his key players, that hampered efforts as well as injuries. Never forget the 1980 Rams win and the curtain call, his biography also depicts how his wife and Coach Knox displayed emotion after the win.
  5. In his biography Knox, Knox openly states Ralph did not care if he put a winning team on the field. Good post!
  6. Living out of Buffalo I returned to visit and was waiting to hear a big name like you - Cowher or Shanahan; I was driving down Tonawanda Creek Road and heard Buddy Nix and almost drove into the Tonawanda Creek. Definitely the most disappointing!
  7. Rough start but strong finish - 9 and 7 possible wild card.
  8. The first Monday Football Game in Buffalo and Don Meredith, Howard Cosell, and Frank Gifford outside the broadcast booth playing to the crowd; BTW OJ reached 1000 yards in game 7 on the 1973 season! Lot's of energy that night!
  9. I remember those days fondly, the end zones were fun to watch, always some action! Some great memories in the Rockpile!
  10. Right on, Larry Centers is not in the same universe as Cookie; IMHO the greatest FB in the game after Jim Brown!
  11. OJ great runner - TT greatest all around back and leader!
  12. And OJ does not come close to Thurman Thomas!
  13. The greatest SB game plan in the history of the game, excellent post! Bill Parcell's believed the biggest weakness in the Bills Defense was Kelso along with the overall lack of size and reliance on speed and finesse over size and physical play; the Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys all over powered the Bills on both sides of the ball.
  14. For the real old timers - Leo Hart, Benny Russell, and Mailon Kent
  15. Are you kidding me; you must be new to this board!
  16. Again, great post Billsfan 1959; you guys want skepticism - live through the 1968, 1970, 1971, 1976, 1977, 1984, and 1985 seasons. Watch 1st round picks flop, QB merry go rounds then have OJ Simpson, Jim Braxton, Heaven Moses, Bob Chandler, JD Hill, and Marlin Briscoe and still finish last in offense! I'm with "McBean" as many of you call them and love what they are doing! If no results in three years I will jump on the bandwagon and offer criticism as many others will, but they get a chance! It took Chuck Knox with a new Front Office and some great drafts three years to get into the playoffs and Bill Polian three years and some change to get into the AFC Championship. Me - loving and enjoying the process!
  17. Maybe an over reaction on my part, you did express an opinion and I did not counter, I concede the point you made in your response!
  18. Great post, I keep posting, the quality of this board is taking a nose dive! Lots of anger out there! I rest my case!
