We had a lousy organization and lousy talent for 20 years - funny how that works!

Only those who really follow the NFL understand this; the Patriots are an oddity getting the right owner, coach, and QB not to mention no other team in the history of sports has a better personnel or scouting department. The Bills had a losing culture for 17 years the Patriots expect to win; you don't change that in one season. Cowboys fans wanted Jimmy Johnson's head on a platter the 189 and 1990 season; especially after the Walker trade - you know how it goes when you trade fan favorites! Rebuilds do happen - the Steeler's and Dolphins in the 1970's, Bills in the 1980's, Cowboys and Patriots in the 1990's. When they are successful it means productivity for the long term - not the 2017 flash in the pan Eagles!

Don't think that is the case at all nor do many others on TBD! I heard the same pessimism in 1985 - 1986 and the beginning of 1987! Man I'm hot, I got a thumbs up from BADOBILZ!! Merry Christmas and may 2019 bring about the start of a new Bills era!!!

If the Bills are 6 - 10 next December then it's time for action; only fair to give the current regime the 2019 season! This off season will make or break them!

Bill Polian once stated in the mid 1980's that the Bills were a failed organization because they held on to "Fan Favorites" too long and got nothing in return except a drop in production, injury, and eventually release or retirement!! Why trade - KW95 said it best! Hughes has been a pillar for the Bills. He sometines gets some kind of pressure on the QB ( The stat that is the new fad ) and often has those game changing plays which keeps opposing team's drive alive with a stupid 15 yard penalty. Unfortunately Hughes has been blacklisted by the NFL. He never, ever gets a holding call against him. I don't undertand the love for this player that is invisible for most games. Then he has one good play and just like CLAY, the love doesnt stop flowing. Good riddance Hughes and bring Clay with you! And he is 31 - give me a high draft pick in a second and make it count!

If they are giving a first round draft choice why ******* not? Sound thought, unusual for TBD!

Montler got the nod in 1973 when Bruce Jarvis was lost due to knee injury and started until 1977, think he was traded.

Absolutely and that means defense or offense - whatever wins! The Bills ran the K Gun for years effectively with four HOFers - Kelly, Reed, Thomas, and Lofton but the defense got creamed; and let's not forget the 1990 Giants led by the second team QB! No one is arguing against a franchise QB, get over it! Try to comprehend that! Where you get confused is putting a showboat offense on the field that draws and wows millennials but never gets a SB ring! I too want a perennial winner, I was around for 60's dynasty and watched Bills teams with great defense and a strong run game win AFL Championships, watched the flashy OJ draw national attention for years with only one playoff appearance and loss, then the K Gun point machine of the SB years, guess what - no SB ring and they got beat by a dominant defense and 2nd string QB! The point is you build a team that wins and yes you need a QB; news flash you need points to win - how about that!

Tampa Bay won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer; Jim McMahon did not light up the sky, and Bob Griese had Czonka and the no name defense; there are no absolutes in the NFL but winning!! There are no emotional attachments by NFL head coaches to offense or defense - running or passing; the only attachment is the score board and won loss column; we are an excitement driven society with a millennial fan base that demands arena football!

Yes! It's a "winning;" win or go home - why no emotional attachments to specific offense or defense!

How about its a "WINNING" league, the winning teams do what it takes to win with emotional attachments to running or passing! Why no one on TBD is employed in any capacity bu the NFL!
