When I was in Buffalo (Hamburg actually) for my cousin's funeral a couple weeks ago, the cell phone coverage was terrible. It seemed like everywhere I went I had to go outside or stand in a certain place in the house to get a signal.

Some of the comments on that site with the pictures are hilarious.

Coors Light is a piss poor excuse of a beer.
The worst tasting "beer" I've ever had was 211 Steel Reserve. Some of the guys I work with gave me a 22 oz. can of it one night after our shift ended, it was terrible.

Sit down Waldo. Can you imagine if you were 12 years old in 1984 and when your school bus shows up Diamond Dave is driving it. Damn those guys need to get back together.

"Our club has spent a lot of time on this thing - in research trying to solve these problems," Wilson said. "We discovered that last year the six smallest market clubs had higher television audiences than the six high-revenue clubs. There's your answer."
Wilson was referring to total viewership for Sunday and Monday night prime-time games last season. He said the six smallest markets outdrew the six largest in total viewers, not just percentage of households watching.
Washington, New England, Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, Denver and Cleveland are among the highest earning clubs in the league.
That's a pretty interesting fact. However, look at the top six teams. Only 2 of those teams are actually contenders and the others are either terrible or very mediocre. Indy was the least profitable team and had the biggest story of the season in Peyton Manning. I don't think it really matters what size the tv market is, as it does how entertaining the team actually is. Ralph is right on though, the owners need to get on the same page.

Manitoba had 8 PP and Rochester had 3 PP.
Wow, that is typical of minor league hockey though. The stripe-o's try and take over the game or make themself the center of attention.

Coors Light is terrible. Although I'd drink that long before I'd ever drink of the Smirnoff Ice, Bacardi Silver, Zima type crap that I see a lot of people drinking at the clubs and bars I go to.

I hope the last running back we drafted that they said that about turns out as good as Thurman did. Congrats to TT, he was my favorite when I was a kid.

Rick James- See, I never just did things just to do them. Come on, what am I gonna do? Just all of a sudden jump up and grind my feet on somebody's couch like it's something to do? Come on. I got a little more sense then that.
[pause]
Yeah, I remember grinding my feet on Eddie's couch.
They need to get it together, Chappelle's Show has been gone too long.

Well, it was over 15 years ago! Now, the most I have to drink is when I visit all the relatives and friends in Buffalo. They all offer me several beers while I'm at their house.
I think that's everybody's family up there. I was home last weekend for my cousin's funeral and everywhere we went somebody offered me beer. All I get down here in NC is a water or iced tea...Southern Hospitality is overrated.

I thought the Big Dig was in Boston?

I have no other explanation why a former Jack Adams winner cannot find a job.
Bill Barber former coach of the Philadelphia Flyers doesn't have a job and he won the Jack Adams as well. I guess winning coach of the year doesn't really carry much weight in the NHL.
-
How does a coach of the year not get another job in the NHL??? Can anyone explain this to me??? Most of his players would run through a wall for him (except our Czech goalie), and he just never is given a shot again??? Something funny is going on. Insanity. Another reason why the NHL is a garbage league right now.
It has a lot to do with the fact he won't accept a job as an assistant. The guy was a GM killer with Muckler and that goes a long way too. Glad he got a job finally. The guy deserves another shot.

I'm happy with the pick, if he can play a game similar to Dante Hall or something similar to Peerless Price's best season in Buffalo when it comes time for Evans to be the man and Parrish to be #2. Then I say it's a pick well spent.

I wasn't totally sure how to handle this last Wednesday when I got called in Greensboro, but Jake was my cousin. I was in Buffalo from Saturday until last night trying to support my Aunt Amy and his wife Ashlie as much as I can. The funeral plans were only being put on wait because we were waiting for Jake's remains to arrive from overseas and they are finalized now. The Pfister, MacGregor and Morrissey families are very appreciative of all the prayers and support they have recieved.

I thought it was going to be this:
FINALLY THEY RELEASE THIS ON DVD...
My favorite scenes from Over The Top are the scene where his son arm wrestles that kid in the truck stop or when the pro arm wrestler drinks the motor oil and eats the cigar.
Another cheesy 80's movie was Commando with AH-NALD...any movie where a guy can military press a phone booth has to be a good one.

Deutsch said she was prepared to work off the debt to Mandell if the instrument was not recovered.
Shouldn't that be spelled douch considering the circumstances?

24% (Yankee). You show a very strong Yankee score.
Does that mean I'm 76% Southern?

Open office is a good way to go if you don't want to lay down a ton of $$$ for Microsoft Office. You don't even have to register open office if you don't want to.

That's so sad, as it's been said before, there is no punishment fit for this horrendous act. The guy who did this shouldn't even be considered a criminal. Why not just release that slimeball into the general population and let nature take it's course.
